Be itkno'wn that I, ARTHUR A; KRAEUTER, a citizen ofthe United States, and resident of South Orange, Essex County, New Jerinvented certain new and useful Improvements in Heads for Golf Clubs, of which the following is a specification.

.My'invention relates to heads for golf clubs, particularly to Wooden heads which are provided With a reinforcing metal face plate; and my improvements are directed to means for increasing the strength and .durability of the reinforced head, and to so forming and securing the reinforcing plate as toavoid-danger of its breaking away or being separated from the head.
