Be it known that I, HERAULT A. TRESTER, citizen of the United States, residing at Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Road Forms, of which the following isa specifi-V cation. Y
The present invention relates to a metal form which is designed for use when constructing roads, pavements or curbing from concrete or other plastic material, and has for its object to provide a device of this charf 'acter which can be quickly and accurately assembled in operative position and which will provide an eective form for shaping the concrete or plastic material in the desired manner.
Further objects of the invention are to provide a form of this character which can be used repeatedly and will be much rmore economical `than wooden forms which must be set up and knocked vdown for eachuse thereof and rapidly deteriorate, and which can be set up with accuracy and used effectively by unskilled labor.
With these and other objects in view, the invention consists in certain combinations, arrangements and associations of the parts, as will more fully appear as the description proceeds,- the novel features thereof being pointed out in the appended claims.

all of the views ofthe drawing by like reference characters.- f y Referring to the drawings, which illustrate one possible embodiment of the invention, the numeral 1 designates a stake `which has the lower endvthereof pointed so that I it can be readily driven into the ground. The stake is preferably formed of metal and is shown as having a circular cross section. The driving head 2 is applied to the stake and this drivingA head serves the double function ofprotecting the head of the stakeA when it is driven in position andalso ofproviding a means of attachment forv the The hangerB has a vertically elongated working head which supports and fits against the rail 1, and is also formed with a rearwardly 4extending arm 3a which fits against the flat face 2a of the drivinghe'ad 2.` The arm 3a is provided with a horizontally disposed rib 5 which is received within a correspondingchannel in the flat face 2a of the driving head. Somesuitable fastening means such as a Uvbolt 6 is provided for securing the hanger arm 3a to the stake head, and the two arms ofk this U bolt extend through horizontal slots 7 in the hanger. Nuts 8 are fitted upon t-he U bolt, andit will be` obvious that when these nuts are tightened the hanger will` be held rigidly inan adjusted position, although when the nuts are loosened the hanger can be adjusted hori- Zontally upon the stakewithinthe limits defined by the `possible play of the armsof the U bolt 6 within the slots 7. f

The channel rails are so shaped that when using a camping machine or any other device which rides upon the rails, any stone, concrete or the like resting upon the flanges will be dislodged and removed by the wheels tion, as well as a saving, should yone edge of a rail be damaged orv rendered inoperative for any reason.
While I have illustrated and described one possible embodiment of the invention I do not wish to be restricted to the exact details of construction which have been shown, since it will be obvious that numerous modifications and changes canV be made therein without departing in any manner from the spirit of the invention.
