Be it known that l, HYGINO nii Trunnnnn no @no lilium, a citizen of the Republic of Portugal, residing Oakland, in the county of Alameda and State of California, have invented certain new and useful improvements in Folding Tablewof which the followir is a specification.

My invention is an improved folding table which is simple in construction and may be readily folded up compactly or unfolded.

Referring to the drawing forming a part of this specification:

Figure i is an elevation of my table unfolded and p in position for use.

Figure 2 is an under side plan view of the table top unfolded and an elevation of the table ystandard folded and placed on the table top so that the top` may be folded around said standard.

Figure 3 is an elevation of the table completely folded.

Figure 4i is a top plan view of the table completely folded.

To fold the table the top is first removed; the pivot member l() is raised until the supports il and braces are folded parallel to rod 3, the sleeve is raised on the rod 3 up to the bod;y member l and the legs drawn inwardly by the braces 8, the folded standard l is then placed on the inside of the center table leaf 142 of the table top 2 with the legs 5 partly below the top as shown in Figure 2 and the leaves 15-15 folded on their hinges 16-16 and the leaves 17-17 folded on their hinges 18-18 completely around the standard as shown in Figures 3 and e.

Having described my invention, l claim:

l. A folding table including a standard and a table top, said standard comprising a rod, a body secured on said rod, legs pivoted to said body, a sleeve slidable on said rod, braces pivoted to said slide and to said legs respectively, a head secured on the upper end of said rod, a pivot member adapted to rest on said head, supports pivoted to said pivot member, and braces pivoted to said body and to said supports respectively.

A folding table including a standard, said standard comprising a rod. a. body secured on said rod, legs pivoted to said body, a sleeve slidable on said rod below the pivot point yof thc legs, braces pivoted to said slide and to said legs respectively, a head fiXedly secured on the upper end of said rod, a pivot member adapted to rest on said head when the table is unfolded but detached therefrom when the table is folded, supports pivoted to said pivot member and braces pivoted to said body and to said supports respectively.
