which the followingis a specification.

This invention relates to improvements in game apparatus, and one of the objects-0f the invention is toprovide an improved de vice of this character by means of the use of which an interesting and fascinating game may be played by rules or otherwise.

A further object is to provide an improved device of this character which will be simple, durable and light in construction, enabling the same to be used upon a table or other support and readilypassed from one player to another, cheap to manufacture, and effective and efficient in opera-v tion.

To the attainment of these ends and the accomplishment of other new and useful objects as ,will appear, the inventionconsists the construction, combination and arrangement of the several parts, hereinafter more fully described and claimed and shown in the accompanying drawing illustrating this invention, and in which Figure l is a side elevation. These clips. are arranged any suitable distance apart and extend entirely about the periphery of the disc, and form abutme-nts as well as diyiding the lateral faces of the disc into separate spaces 42.

An element 43 preferably of a flexible nature is provided. with a head 44, and a. pointed extremity 45. The groups. of characters are all preferably of the same denomination or indication and the characters of the respective groups are differentiated from th next adjacent character in any suitable manner. such as by means of av different color. As the disc rotates the clip like elements 39 will ratchet across the extermity 4-5 of the element 43 and when the disc stops rotating, the element 4-3 will. stand between two adjacent clips and will indicate one or the other of the characters on the face of the disc. the result of which indicationmay bedeterinined by any rules adopted for the game to be played.

By the provision of the indicating characters on the opposite faces of the disc the result of the play may be seen by players who may be sitting opposite to the user. V

lVhat is claimed as new is:

1. A game apparatus embodying a support, a disk like element mounted upon the support for free rotation, spaced stops arranged about theperiphery of the said element, portions of the stops co-operating with the lateral face of the disc for dividing said face into separate spaces, and a yieldable and fixed element projecting across the path of movement of the said stops.

A game apparatus embodying a support, a disc like element mounted upon the support for free rotation with respect thereto, there being a circumferential groove extending about the periphery of the disc, a plurality of elements carried by the disc, portions of the elements extending transversely of the groove, and a fixed flexible element, a portion of the element projecting into the groove beyond the portions of the first recited elements that project in a direction across the groove.

3. A game apparatus embodying a support, a disc like element mounted upon the support for free rotation with respect thereto, there being a circumferential groove extending about the periphery of the disc, a plurality of elements, carried by the disc,

4. A game apparatus embodying a supporting base, an upright, a lateral projection at the base of the upright and having a slot therethrough, an element disposed between the base and the said lateral projection,*said element projecting through the said slot and beyond the said lateral projection, a disc like element supported by the upright for free rotation with respect thereto, and means carried by the disc and adapted to engage and flex a portion of the said element when the disc is given a rotation.

A game apparatus embodying a supporting base, spaced uprights formed from a single piece of sheet material bent into shape to form a connecting portion therebetween, there being aslot' in the said portion, there being a recess in the base with which the said slot registers, an element seated in the recess and projecting through the slot and beyond the said portion, a disc like element supported between the uprights for free rotation with respect thereto,and means carried by the disc, spaced about the periphery thereof and adapted to successively engage and flex a portion of the said element when the disc is given a rotation; 7 A game apparatus embodying a supporting base, spaced uprights formed from a single piece of sheet material bent into shape to form a connecting portion therebetween, there being a slot in the said portion, there being a recess in the base with which the said slot registers, an element seated in the recess and projecting through the slot and beyond the said portion, a disc like element supported between the uprights for free rotation with respect thereto, and means carried by the disc spaced about the periphery thereof and adapted to succes sively engage and flex a portion of the said element when the disc is given a rotation, there being an open groove extending about the perihery of the disc, the said means embodying clip like elements detachably secured to the disc, a portion of the clips extending across the said groove and into which groove a portion of the said element 8.
