lt will be seen that by the use of the detachable and interchangeable Water mark, or Water mark tablet, one of the improved dandy rolls may be used for any number of different Water marks, and thus the necessity and expense of employing a large number of rolls one for each Water mark is avoided, andany number of different Water marks may be used at the same time if desired, and further comparatively small quantities of paper may be made with one mark Without appreciable extra expense.
l/What l claim as my invention and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:-
l. A. Water mark device for dandy rolls comprising a tablet adapted to carry a Water mark and adapted to be fitted to the dandy roll, and tivo-part detachable fasteners carried by the back of said tablet and said roll whereby to removably attach 'the tablet to the dandy roll.
2. ln dandy rolls, a Water mark device mounted on a tablet of material similar to the surface of the dandy roll, a tablet re# ceiving frame on the dandy roll, and detachable fastenings for securing the Water mark tablet to the dandy roll in said frame.
' 3. In dandy rolls, a Water mark device mounted on a tablet of foraminous metal fabric, a tablet receiving frame on the dandy roll and'detaehable fastenings for securing the water mark tablet to thetdandy roll in said frame.
4. In dandy rolls, a water mark ,device mounted `on a tablet of material similar to the surface of the dandy roll, aI tablet receiving frame on the dandy roll and press buttonl fastenings for securing the water mark tablet to the dandy roll in said frame. 5. In dandy rolls water mark device mounted on a frame consisting of wire strips and detachable fastenings whereby said frame is attached to the dandyroll.
