WVith my invention it is obvious that any number of curtains may be disposedone behind the other andsimultaneously displayed by drawing them down to varying distances, as shown in Fig. 1. Where curtains or shades of different colors are used and it is desired to make selections for exhibition tains are of the same colorasthe respective shades or curtains which enables the exhibitor to show or display'any desired shade or curtain without taking a position in front of the cabinet. This is accomplished by simply grasping the exposed end' of the cord which is of the desired color and drawing it down in the manner previously explained.

Aswill be apparent from the description of my invention the cabinet or display fixture may be made as a single or independent unit or a complete fixture may be composed of two or more units such, for instance, as shown in Fig. 1. The cabinet or fixture may also be mounted on rollers or casters, if desired, so that it may be moved from place to placeto suit the convenience of the exhibitor.

Other modifications of my invention may be made all of which I would have it understood I consider within the spirit'and scope of my invention as set forth in the appended claims.

Having" thus described my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is:

1. A display fixture for flexible articles,

as window shades and the like, comprising a cabinet, spring rollers on which the articles to be displayed are mounted, secured to theinterior of the cabinet and near the top thereof, and so disposed that a plurality of articles may be displayed simultaneously without altering the position of the rollers relatively tothe cabinet, a cord secured to the bottom of each article for actuating the same to extended or display position, rollers at the bottom and top of the cabinet, the cords passing from their point of attachment to the articles downwardly around the first-named rollers and upwardly about the second named rollers and from thence substantially at a right angle out through the side of the cabinet, and guides engaging the lower outside edges of the articles, the cords at all times and the articles when on display maintaining themselves in extended position.

2. A display fixture for flexible articles, as window shades and the like, comprising a cabinet, spring rollers on which the articles to be displayed are mounted, supports for the rollers rigidly secured to the cabinet adjacent the interior'of the top thereof, so disposed that the articles to be displayed will be arranged parallel to each other, a cord secured to the bottom of each article for actuating the same downwardly, rollers at the bottom and'top of the cabinet, said cords extendingfrom the bottom of the articles downwardly around the rollers at the bottom of the cabinet and upwardly about the rollers at the top of the cabinet and from thence out through the side of the cabinet near the top thereof, and guides for directing the movements of the articles, the articles when on display and the'cords for actuating them maintaining themselves in extended position.
