T 0 all whom it may concern i Be it known that l, JAMES ll. Jones, a citizen of the United States, residing at Washington, in the District of Columbia,
have invented certain new and useful lmprovements in Concrete-Molds, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
This invention relates to structures tor molding concrete, cement, and the like, and has for its object to provide such a structure with means for suspending the side plates and thereby avoid the use of a base member.
A further object of the invention is to provide such a molding structure that the upper surface oil the concrete will be spaced from the molding apparatus in order that such surfacemay be troweled finished while the apparatus remain its original position.
Another object of the invention to pro vide a mold. which may be used for laying either curved or straightcurbing.

Referring to the drawing more in detail,
and particularly to Fl s. 1 to t, inclusive,
the supports comprise t e stakes 1 and horizontal brace members '2. Connected to the brace members 2 and depending therefrom are a plurality of hangers 3. llhe hangers 3' are arrange in pairs and may be clamped against outward movement by means or the bolts 4 located adjacent the top and bottom of the brace member 2. Side plates 5 are secured to the hangers 3 and have attached to their outer faces the horizontally disosed reintorcin members or plates 6. rackets may e interposed between the side plates 5 and the reinforcing members 6.
' In operation, the apparatus is arranged as shown in Figs. 1 and 2, and the concrete is poured in the usual manner. By having the side plates suspended as shown, it is unnecessary to provide a base for these plates, such however, is almost always necessary when using the old method, especially when working in soft or muddy ground.
As shown in big. 3 oi the drawing, a side plate may be removed by merely loosening the bolts l and removing the nails pass ing into the brace member 2; the face of the curb or other part being formed is then to be finishe any manner desired. order to retain the remaining plate in position l provide the stake 8.
