What We claim as our invention is.
l. An electric Water heater comprising a cylindrical casingl of heat. conducting ma` terial adapted'to be inserted in an orifice. in a boiler Wall and'to extend inwardly into the boiler, a core formed of heat absorbing material fitting Within-the casing and pro vided with a double thread extending longitudinally thereof, and a Windingformed by a wire extending inwardly longitudinally of the core through one member of the double thread and returning outward through the other member of the double thread vand adapted to be secured at its ends to leading in- Wires.
2. In an electricwvater heater, a tubular casing formed of heat conducting material, a removable cap secured 4to the outer end of the casing having orifices for leading in Wires and provided with an external thread, a core of heat absorbing material fitting Within the cylindrical casing and having a thread extending longitudinally thereof, and a diametric groove connecting the inner ends of thel members of the double thread and wire winding adapted to extend inwardly through one member of the double thread through the diametric groove at the inner end of the core and then outward through thel other memberv of the double thread...
