The metallic casing 1 comprises the head E2 having an internal screw threaded bore extending downwardly from its upper end. a neck t extending downwardly from the head 2 and having an internal packing seat the rim G extending downwardly troni the neck el. the neck T extending downwardly Atroni the rim G. the externally screw threaded nipple S extending down 'ardly 'from the neck T. and the housing 9 extending downwardly from the screw threaded nipple S, there being a straight bore 10 'from the seat 5 downwardlT through the portions li. The secondary insulator 3.1. tits the seatl ll in the housing 9, a secondary conductor 235 'extends through the center of the secondarj.' insulator 3l and has a sparking end 'li adjacent to the sparking end 2T, and a sparking end 3T upon its lower end. The. fourth sparking end is formed upon the conductor 39 and the fourth sparking end is mounted in opposition to the third sparking' end 3T. The conductor 39 comprises the sparking end 3S. the straight vertical portion l() extending downwardly from the sparking end 38.E the bend 41 extending from the lower end ot the portion L10. the inclined arm l2 extending outwardly 'trom he bend'll. and the straight portion 43 extending through the secondary casing 15 and rigidly iixcd in the casing.

The spark gap stil is in the chamber 10 and communicates with the explosive mixturein the c vlinder through the openings 11 and 12. The spark gap 4:5 is in the chamber 46 below the secondary insulator 34 and Within the secondary casing 15 ,and communi.- (rates with the explosivemixture through the open lower end or" the chamber 46.
Various changes may be made without departing from the spirit of my invention as claimed.

A spark plug comprising a metallic casing. a main 'insulator mounted in the metallic casing its inner end terminating at a proper point within the casing, a conductor rod mounted centrallythrough the main insulator its inner end extending from the end ot the main insulator, a second insulator lixed in a recess Within the end et the ces ing opposite the inner end oi'" the main iiisuiatoi' having :i conducto? rod through the center thereof; its inner end positioned within propel. sparking disziiice of the inner end of the rod of the main insulator there being a chamber formed between the two insulators :md there being ports cui; through the Wall of the metallic casing communicating with the chamber, means ioi homing 1!
