To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JosnrH URBANEK a subject of the Emperor of Austria, residln at Chicago, county of Cook, and State 0 Illinois, have invented certain new and use: ful Improvements in Non-skidding Devices for Wheels, of whichthe following is a specification.
This invention relates to improvements in vehicle wheels and particularly to. types adapted to be used in connection with lgh grade vehicles.
The pr1nc1pal object of the invention is to provide devices in the form of attachments which may be applied to a wheel of the ordinary type of construction, the device being adapted to prevent slippingI or skidding of the wheel upon an icy or 0 erwise slippery surface.
A further whereby the non-skidding devices are hmitedly movable within their holder so as to present a plurality of spurs adapted to make contact with the surface over which the vehlcle wheels travel.
These and other like objects are attained by the novel construction and combination of p'artshereinafter described and shown in the accompanying drawings, forming a materialpart of this disclosure, and in which- Figure 1 is a side elevational view showinga wheel made in accordance" with the invention.
