To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that l, lVAL'rEn S. imparts, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Matamoras, in the county of Washing.- ton and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Antiskidding Attachments for Automobile-Tires, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying draw- %his invention relates to anti-skidding attachments for automobile tires.
One object of the invention is to provide an article of this character that shall be simple of construction, of the highest eficiency and durability in use, and capable of ready attachment to iosition upon atire, the arrangement or the parts bein such as to enable them to resist strain wit out anyappreis better understood, the same consists in the novel construction and arrangement of parts of an anti-skidding attachment for automobile tires, as will be hereinafter fully described and claimed.

The attachment is constructed from any suitable material, preferably from malleable cast iron, and embodies a semi-band 1 the arch of which will closely approximate spurs 8, each. having a threaded shank 4: and an intermediate nut 5, thespurs being prethfCarried lay-the bend oftheband aretwo erably of hard steel in order to'cause them i to be capable of resisting long continued wear without appreciable deterioration. From the foregoing description, it will he seenthat although the improvements of the present invention are simple in character, they will be thoroughly ellicient for the pur pose designed, and will coact in the prcserr tation of a nonskidding attachment that will possess allthe requisites necessary to make such a device of practical value.
Having thus described my inventiomwhat ll claim is:
