The lever 20 is provided in its body portion with two spaced openings, one of said openings being adapted to receive the pivot pin which secures said lever to. the standard 3, the other of said openings being adapted to receive the pivot pin which fastens the catch member 18 to the lever. Thus as the lever 20 is actuated, the catch member 18 will be engaged and disengaged from the upper surface of the rib 7. Having thus described the invention, what is claimed is 1. A trowel'oftheclass described including a resilient blade, a'ridge secured there to, a standard extending outwardly from the ridge, a stationary rib having a tapering end, a keeper adapted to receive said tapering end and means for removablyfsecuring the other endvof the to thebl jde; 2. A device of the class described ind ding a resilient blade, afridge plate secured thereto, a standard,projecting outwardly from said plate, a keeper carried by one end of the blade, a stationary rib having one end removably engaged beneath said keeper, the other endof saidrib being hollow and substantially semi-circular in form, a flange formed onthe inner end'ofthe ridge plate, a movable bolt carried, by said rib having a catch adapted to engage said flange'andmeans for actuatingsaid b'olt to engage and disengage the catch.
