. Be it known'that I, CARL E. Snood, a citizen of the, United States, and'a res dent of Providence, in the county of Frovr I dence and State of-Rhode Island, have in vented new and Improved Shanks for :Separable Link Cuff-Buttons, of which the f ol-. lowing is a full, clear, and exact description.
Among the principal objects which the present invention has in view are; to'provide one-piece shanks having male and female engaging portions; to provide a sprmg engaging member for the female portion, the resiliency of which is incorporated therein; and to provide button shanks, ofthe character mentioned adapted to be manufactured by automatic machinery.
