In a show case refrigerator of the class described, the combination with a case, ot' vertical partition .walls spaced from the ends of the case to forni food chambers and spaced from each other to form an intermediate ice chamber, each of Said partition walls being forn'led with spaced Walls, said partition walls being spaced from the bottom of the case to form a passage from the ice chamber to the food chamber, a horizont-al wall extending outwardly from the lower end of each partition wall into the food chamber, said horizontal walls closing the spaces between the lower end of the `spaced walls of the partitions whereby the air is directed from the spaces between said walls into the food chambers independently of the air passing directly from the ice chamber to the food chambers, a grating between said partition walls, and deflector plates below said grating.l
