It will also be seen that as the Vchannels extend the full length ofthe post, 1 the fasteningldevices may be driven at. any convenient heightand withdrawn as desired without any manner injuring the post and preventing water from lodging therein 'by reason of being embedded inthe ground.A l From the foregoing description it willbe readily -seen that the reinforcing element and holder may bev applied or molded with the cement and mayl be applied to .posts of general design. It will also be seen that the 'same ,can be constructed of galvanized 'iron .or other suitable material and when the 'fas-I tening devices are in osi-tion, the oppositely extended langes'27A fldrm d by the incisions 13' will vprevent withdrawalof the holder or dislodgment thereof as would tend to break or crack the cement. -It will thus be seen that the sheet metal reinforcing which may beapplied to posts.
