The openings are merely to recluse the weight where they will not sacrifice required strength. The eonibiimtion with. a hiriat, of a noose Clip adopted to be attached to the noosed end thereof, said clip including :i pair of clip jaws, each of said jaws being provided with a terminal aperture, said aperture lieing adapted to receive the terminal of said lariahe hook-shaped pawl pivoted to the first of said jaws, a locking dog pivotally attached to 'ihe set'ond of said jaws and adopted to coi'iperub with saidpmvl in loclo ing snid clip jaws in closed position, and a spring carried by the second oi said clip jaws for nornmlly holding said pawl and dog in looking relotion.
