Abstract
The invention relates to refractory industry. A chromite-periclase heat-treated refractory can be used for lining of different heat metallurgical aggregates: open-hearth melting furnaces, oxygen-blown converters, lining and equipment of steel-pouring ladles - nozzle-pocket block, moulded filtering members of intermediate ladles for continuous steel spill. The proposed component composition of refractory provides saving of valuable raw material and energy resources using breakage of periclase articles, breakage of periclase-chromite and/or chromite-periclase articles, using of heat-treatment temperature for its production 185-230 °C instead of 1750-1780 °C burning temperature for burnt analogs.
