Abstract

A device for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots relates to working elements of potato-harvesting machines. The cleaning unit has in longitudinal-vertical cross-section thereof a falling-drop shape with an outlet in the lower part. Inside the cleaning unit activator is mounted as a driving cylindrical drum, on the both sides of which, on the axles, which are parallel to the axle of a drum and arranged in the body of the drum, rigid blades are freely mounted in threes. The blades have limited angles of rotation, above those stoppers are fixed, and the drive of the activator allows the drum making fixed kick-backs in both directions.
