Abstract
The process for producing an optically active chromene oxide compound comprises using an optically active titanium complex represented by, e.g., the formula (1) or (2) as a catalyst to asymmetrically oxidize an optically active chromene compound with high enantioselectivity in high chemical yield., (1), (2)AA...
