Abstract
A method of creation a breeding material of alfalfa with high nitrogen fixing potential includes collection of biotypes according to a total number of tubers. Collection is performed according to seed production in breeding nurseries at different seed times - spring or late summer, collected seeds are treated with a strain of nodule bacteria and sown in the sand by means of broadcast seeding, the phase of budding-flowering plants are selected according to a power of root system ≥6,0 points according to nine-evaluation system during two cycles.
