Abstract
A method for treating inoperable malignancies of hepatobiliary area complicated with obstructive jaundice comprises the antegrade transcutaneous transhepatic puncture of the right hepatic duct, the insertion of the guide through the puncture needle into the right hepatic duct, the recanalization of the area of choledoch obstruction, the passage of the guide to the orifice of the duodenum, internal-external cholangiodrainage, and stenting of obstruction area. The end of the guide passed into duodenum is caught with endoscopic forceps and exteriorized via the mouth. The obstruction area is stented in retrograde manner along the guide under X-ray control.
