Abstract
The method for the combined therapy of the relapse of the simple continuous schizophrenia with aggressive behavior comprises the use of the psychotropic drugs including Risset and the electrically induced sleep. Within the second week of the treatment, the oral Risset dose is increased from moderate to high level with daily increment of 1.0 mg up to 10.0-13.0 mg daily. In 2 hours following the morning oral dose of Risset, the sleep is induced according in orbital-postaural mode with the constant increase of the current from 15 to 20 mA, the pulse rate from 5 to 120 Hz, the pulse duration from 0.2 to 0.5 ms, and the duration of the session from 25 to 80 min with 12 treatment sessions in total.
