Abstract
A method for treating the false joint comprises the resection of the sclerosal ends of the bone fragments, compression, fixation, the assay for homocysteine, the detection of the mutations in the gene of nitrogen oxide synthase C786T (eNOS T786C) and the gene of methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase – the enzyme of homocysteine metabolism (MTHFR C677T). When the level of homocysteine exceeds 25 µmol/L and the combination of the pathological homozygotes 786-CC and 677TT is detected, the compression of the fragments is performed without elongation and shortening.
