Abstract
A process for purification of ground water from iron compounds provides its aeration, alkalization, lime treatment, coagulation, flocculating with further settling or treatment in layer of suspended sludge, and filtering through granular loading. At the stage of pressure aeration a change of values pH-Eh is carried out for creation of area of comfort activity of iron bacteria, formed hydrogen peroxide simultaneously reacts with ions of ferrous iron with formation of free radicals and with them oxidizes iron-organic complexes, compounds of hydrogen carbonate iron, and ferrous hydroxide, formed in the course of such oxidation, is mixed with alkaline agent and solutions of coagulants and flocculants for separation of sludge phases with simultaneous stabilization water treatment.
