Abstract
A method for predicting the severity of patients with acute pancreatitis comprises the assessment of a patient. At the same time the number of points on a scale Ranson, APACHE II and scale of C-reactive protein is determined in the blood plasma and in the presence of three or more points by Ranson scale, 8 points by APACHE II sclae and the concentration of C-reactive protein in the blood plasma -> 150 mg/ml the severity of acute pancreatitis is predicted.
