Шлак виробництва вторинного алюмінію вводять в завалку в кількості 10-30 кг/м2 рівномірно по поверхні ванни, перед введенням металобрухту, а киснем продувають з інтенсивністю 0,2-0,4 м3/хв на 1 м2 поверхні ванни.
