A method for determination of content of pigment of chlorophyll and carotenoids includes photographing with digital photo-camera plant leaves at background of a white paper sheet, by means of application of computer software one determines intensity of red and blue color of image in pixels and characteristics of absorption by green leaves in those spectral regions. One determines parameter of color as result of division of characteristics of absorption of red and blue colors, with determination of numerical characteristic of chlorophyllandand carotenoids in mg/100 g of wet substance.
