Abstract
A process for softening and purification of waste water from sulphate-ions comprises the treatment of water with lime and aluminium hydroxide. After the treatment of water with lime metal aluminium in a form of chips, foil or powder is added into it. The clarified water is treated with carbon dioxide for explosion of calcium ions.
