Abstract

A method for the preparation of copper (II) hydroxide involves copper oxidation in the presence of anode in the solution of alkali metal nitrate with a weight concentration of 5-15% at current density of 150-460 Ç/m2. As anode copper containing ferriferous waste is used, electrochemical oxidation of copper containing ferriferous waste is carried out additionally at a current density up to 4000 Ç/m2.
