Abstract

The invention relates to the field of heat-and-power engineering. A process for the treatment of additional water for heat networks involves acidulation of original water and withdrawing dissolved oxygen from it. These stages are carried out jointly by contact of original water with elemental sulphur in the presence of bacteria of genus Thiobacillus. Use of this invention promotes to simplification of technological process, decreasing prime cost thereof, increase in ecological and chemical safety, enables use of original water with different degree of hardness.
