Abstract

Device for replacement of wheel pairs of railroad transport means includes lower platform equipped with the trucks for displacement of the device on the track of pit perpendicularly with the access tracks, and upper platform equipped with a section of track and interacting with the mechanism of its lifting - lowering. One of said trucks is driving, and the second one is equipped with a cable drum. The mechanism of lifting - lowering of upper platform is executed in the form of lead screw motionlessly mounted in the seats of lower platform, said screws interact with driving nuts located on the upper platform, each of which is a component of corresponding worm-and-wheel reducer. Upper platform is equipped with sliding stops intended for its fixation relative to the walls of pit. The area of the track of upper platform for fixation of the wheel pair, which is replaced, is executed with sliding rail inserts.
