Abstract

A device for arc plasma spraying coatings using a laminar plasma jet contains a cathode unit, an external anode unit, a cooling system and a unit for powder supply. The unit for powder supply is located in the upper part of plasma torch with possibility of powder supply directly into the nozzle part. The feeding channel of gas-powder mixture of the cathode unit in the initial part of arc burning is made at an angle of 20°-40° to the axis of plasma jet.
