Abstract

Apparatus for material sizing has a vertical channel, in which in a zig-zag way, one under another, grate-bars and deflectors are placed, at that the grate-bar surfaces are concave, forming an arc of a sinusoidal curve, and form a vertical channel, shape of which follows the equation for sinusoidal harmonic vibrations, and a loading unit and branch pipes for separated fractions discharge. Vertical channel is formed by two vertical removable sections, each of which comprises two hinged at the sides, at the upper and the lower part, springy elements, connected to each other by several inclined deflectors with vibro-excited bate-bars fixed on those and installed one under another with a step in vertical plane being equal to the period of vibrations of the sinusoidal curve of the channel. At that, concave surfaces of the grate-bars in each section are directed to the axis of the vertical channel and displaced with respect to each other in horizontal plane at a value being equal to the half-period of vibration for the said sinusoidal curve, and sections in the upper part are connected to the source of forced vibrations.
