A method to forecast the content of cobalt (Со) in the ecosystem of fishery ponds (PEP- Со) such that the content of cobalt (Со) in the water of fishery ponds is determined by a chemical method and, on the basis of the water analyses conducted, calculations are carried out according to the formula: М=К×М+V, wherein Мis cobalt (Со) concentration in an object, µg/kg; М– cobalt (Со) concentration in water, µg/l; К - angular coefficient for an equation of linear regression between two values of cobalt (Со) concentration in water and in object; V - correction factor.
