Abstract
A slit glass feeder for the production of continuous basalt fibers from melts of basalt rocks, consisting of charge hole, placed in the upper part of the feeder body, filter core (of a screen), bushing plate (of the bottom), current distributors (of clamps), fixed on the ends of the bushing plate, bushing. Over the charge hole, along its perimeter, bead with the baffle in the middle is placed. The body consists of the upper and the lower bodies, between which the filter core (screen) is fixed. The lower body consists of side plates, serving as flange for attachment of feeder in box cooler with cooling by flow water. Current distributors (clamps) are extensions of the bushing plate and arranged at an angle. The glass feeder has triangular infinitely variable vertical edges, attached to the upper and the lower bodies from their ends.
