Abstract

A piezoelectric transformer comprises a piezoelectric element with electrodes and input and outputs wires. As a piezoelectric element, a bimorph element is used, which comprises two ring and disc electrodes. For each piezoelectric element, projection of one electrode does not coincide with the other electrode. Piezoelectric elements are connected to one another in such a way that electrodes located on surfaces of piezoelectric elements which are connected, coincide and form an internal electrode. An input wire is connected to one outside electrode, a common wire is connected to other external electrode, and an output wire is connected to the internal electrode.
