The method for the surgical treatment of the chronic purulent otitis media with cholesteatoma comprises the removal of cholesteatoma from the retroaural access. The cholesteatoma is removed transmeatally. Simultaneously, mastoidoplasty is performed by free muscular-periosteal flap.
