Abstract
A method for steel deoxidation includes steel melting in hearth steel-making units, steel discharging into the steel pouring ladle, addition to the ladle of manganiferous deoxidizing agents and deoxidizing mixture, containing wastes of secondary aluminium production in the form of alumofluxes or furnace slags and addition of carboncontaining material with carbon content of 65-95 %. At that wastes of secondary aluminium production and carboncontaining materials in alumoflux carboncontaining mixture are in the mass ratio 1:(0.5-2.5), and general consumption of alumoflux carboncontaining mixture in the ladle is equal to 0.03-0.50 % of metal mass in the ladle.
