Abstract
The invention relates to the medicine, namely to the therapeutic dentistry, in particular to the method for treating gingivitis. The inventive concept consists in improving the method using chlorohexidine digluconate in combination with phosphatidylcholine liposomes providing for decreasing the toxicity of chlorohexidine digluconate while preserving its antibacterial activity, thus providing the optimal conditions for regeneration the gingival cells. The method allows for the increasing efficacy of the treatment with shortened treatment duration.
