Abstract
The proposed method for purification of water comprises treatment of water with coagulant and flocculant – polyhexamethyleneguanidine with subsequent separation of sediment, settling and filtration. As polyhexamethyleneguanidine taken is polyhexamethyleneguanidine with molecular weight of 8 000 – 45 000 units of volume. At that polyhexamethyleneguanidine is incorporated once at an amount of 1-5 mg/dm3. After incorporation of coagulant treatment of original water is performed.
