Abstract

A process for the preparation of continuous fiber from basalt rock melt comprises rock shattering, melting and manufacture of fiber through draw plates. The invention may be used for preparation of chemically stable high-temperature filters and fabrics for manufacturing of sewing heat-retention and sound-proofing articles, for creation of various composites of construction destination.
