Abstract
Винахід відноситься до охолодження зливків із сталей, що мають широкий діапазон твердіння, наприклад, із вмістом вуглецю близько 0,25...1,5 %. Мета винаходу - підвищення якості зливків за рахунок усунення розшарованої зони в центральній частині. Спосіб охолодження сталевих зливків при безперервному розливанні включає охолодження зливка в кристалізаторі, формування в ньому затверділої коринки зливка і подальше охолодження під кристалізатором зливка із зміною інтенсивності вздовж металургійної довжини. На кінцевій ділянці металургійної довжини зливка додатково здійснюється охолодження затверділої коринки зливка з швидкістю, що перевищує швидкість охолодження його твердорідкої серцевини.
