The invention relates to the treatment of acute coronary syndrome without ST-segment elevation in the patients with ischemic heart disease and metabolic syndrome following the transcutaneous transluminar coronary angioplasty. In addition to standard therapy, Trimetazidine is prescribed per os during the meals at a dose of 35 mg twice a day for at least 12 months since the second day following the transcutaneous coronary intervention.
