Abstract

An improved paper tableware structure comprises a paper container having an annular sidewall with an upper opening and a lower opening at each end. An inner ring portion is folded inwardly within the lower opening of the annular sidewall. An annular gap is formed between the inner ring portion and the annular sidewall. The gap is used to assemble a bottom cover. When the bottom end of the paper container and the bottom cover are assembled and connected, the inner ring portion is further formed with at least one annular rib by rolling along the wall surface. The annular rib further enhances the structural strength of the bottom of the paper container, effectively preventing the bottom from being squeezed and deformed, thereby preventing leakage of the contents. The invention has practicality and industrial applicability.

Description

Improved structure of paper tableware

This project is about paper tableware, specifically a tableware container with an improved bottom structure to increase strength.

Existing disposable paper tableware containers, such as paper cups, consist of a cup body and a cup base. The cup body is made from a single sheet of paper that is cut, rolled, and glued together, while the cup base is sealed to the bottom of the cup body. However, these bases are typically secured to the cup body by gluing, resulting in limited structural strength. They are prone to collapse when holding hot beverages or heavy objects, and can also easily deform due to squeezing, potentially leading to damage to the cup base and leakage of contents. This presents a significant need for improvement.

With this in mind, the author, drawing upon years of experience in the manufacturing, development, and design of related products, has meticulously designed and carefully evaluated this product with the aforementioned goals in mind, ultimately resulting in a truly practical creation.

The technical problem to be solved by this invention is to address the above-mentioned deficiencies of the existing technology and provide an improved structure of paper tableware, which comprises a paper container having an annular side wall, a containing space formed inside the annular side wall, and an upper opening and a lower opening at both ends of the annular side wall communicating with the containing space, an inner ring portion being folded inwardly of the lower opening of the annular side wall, and the inner ring portion being An annular joint gap is formed between the inner annular portion and the annular side wall. This joint gap is used to assemble a bottom cover. The bottom cover comprises a bottom plate and a joint annular wall that bends downwardly along the periphery of the bottom plate. The joint annular wall of the bottom cover is inserted into the joint gap from top to bottom, and the inner annular portion, the joint annular wall, and the annular side wall are further pressurized and bonded together. The inner annular portion further has at least one annular rib rolled along its outer wall.

Preferably, the paper container is any tableware container such as a cup, a bowl, or a plate.

Preferably, when the paper container is a bowl or plate, the annular side wall extends downward from the lower opening to form an annular bottom wall, and the inner ring portion is formed by folding the annular bottom wall inward.

Preferably, the inner ring portion and the annular side wall are non-parallel, so that the joint gap gradually expands from bottom to top to form a V-shaped gap.

Preferably, the thickness of the combined ring wall of the bottom cover is gradually thinned from top to bottom.

Compared to the prior art, when the bottom of the paper container is assembled and connected to the bottom cap, the inner ring portion of the annular side wall is roll-formed with an annular rib along the wall surface. These annular ribs further enhance the structural strength of the bottom of the paper container, effectively preventing the bottom from being squeezed and deformed, thereby preventing leakage of contents. This design is both practical and industrially applicable.

First, please refer to Figures 1 to 4 for an improved structure of paper tableware, which includes a paper container 10 having an annular sidewall 11. A container space 12 is formed within the annular sidewall 11. An upper opening 13 and a lower opening 14 are provided at both ends of the annular sidewall 11, communicating with the container space 12. The upper opening 13 is rolled outward to form an annular lip 131. The lower opening 14 of the annular sidewall 11 is folded inward to form an inner annular portion 141. A ring-shaped joint gap 142 is formed between the inner annular portion 141 and the annular sidewall 11. The joint gap 142 is provided in a manner similar to the embodiment of the present invention. The bottom cover 20 is assembled with a bottom plate 21 and a downwardly bent connecting ring wall 22 along the periphery of the bottom plate 21. The connecting ring wall 22 of the bottom cover 20 is inserted downwardly into the connecting gap 142. The inner ring portion 141, the connecting ring wall 22, and the annular side wall 11 are press-fitted together. The inner ring portion 141 is further rolled along its outer wall to form at least one annular rib 143. The bottom cover 20 is thus assembled to the bottom end of the storage space 12 of the paper container 10. The bottom plate 21 is then used to seal the lower opening 14, thereby completing a tableware container.

To further illustrate, the inner ring portion 141 is non-parallel to the annular sidewall 11, causing the joint gap 142 to gradually expand from bottom to top, forming a V-shaped gap. The thickness of the joint ring wall 22 of the bottom cover 20 is gradually tapered from top to bottom, allowing the joint ring wall 22 to fit snugly within the joint gap 142, enhancing the tightness between the joint ring wall 22 and the joint gap 142. Furthermore, the joint ring wall 22 is completely fitted within the joint gap 142, allowing the edge of the bottom plate 21 to further abut against the top of the inner ring portion 141, improving the load-bearing capacity of the bottom plate 21. Furthermore, the inner ring portion 141 is rolled with a plurality of annular ribs, further enhancing the strength of the bottom cover 20.

The paper container 10 can be any of a cup, bowl, or plate. The above description uses a cup as an example. When the paper container 10 is a bowl or plate, as shown in Figures 5 and 6 , the annular side wall 11 extends downward from the lower opening 14 to form an annular bottom wall 140. The annular bottom wall 140 is folded inward to form an inner ring portion 141. The connecting annular wall 22 of the bottom cover 20 is inserted downwardly into the connecting gap 142 and secured thereto. The bottom plate 21 seals the lower opening 14, thereby completing a bowl or plate tableware container.

The structure of the above-described embodiment provides the following benefits: When the bottom end of the paper container 10 is assembled and connected to the bottom cover 20, an annular rib 143 is formed by rolling along the inner annular portion 141 of the annular side wall 11. These annular ribs 143 further enhance the structural strength of the bottom of the paper container 10, effectively preventing the bottom of the paper container 10 from being squeezed and deformed, thereby preventing leakage of contents. This structure is both practical and industrially applicable.

In summary, this invention has indeed achieved a groundbreaking structural design and possesses innovative and innovative features. It is also capable of industrial application and advancement. Furthermore, this invention has not been previously published and is novel, thus complying with the relevant provisions of the Patent Law. Claims (5)

An improved structure for paper tableware includes a paper container having an annular side wall, a containing space formed inside the annular side wall, an upper opening and a lower opening at both ends of the annular side wall communicating with the containing space, an inner ring portion folded inwardly of the lower opening of the annular side wall, and an annular connection formed between the inner ring portion and the annular side wall. The gap is used to assemble a bottom cover. The bottom cover has a bottom plate and a bonding ring wall that bends downward along the periphery of the bottom plate. The bonding ring wall of the bottom cover is inserted into the bonding gap from top to bottom, and the inner ring portion, the bonding ring wall, and the annular side wall are further pressurized and bonded together. The inner ring portion is further formed with at least one annular rib rolled along the outer wall. The improved paper tableware structure as described in claim 1, wherein the paper container is any one of a cup, a bowl, and a plate. As described in claim 2, the improved structure of paper tableware, wherein when the paper container is a bowl or plate, the annular side wall further extends downward from the lower opening to form an annular bottom wall, and the inner ring portion is formed by folding inwardly from the annular bottom wall. The improved structure of paper tableware as described in claim 1, wherein the inner ring portion and the annular side wall are non-parallel, so that the joint gap gradually expands from bottom to top to form a V-shaped gap. The improved structure of paper tableware as described in claim 4, wherein the thickness of the combined ring wall of the bottom cover is gradually thinned from top to bottom.
