Abstract

A shell-shaped candle has a candle body made of wax in a hollow shell shape, so that the candle body has an outer surface and an inner surface, and at least one wick is arranged along the inner surface of the candle body, and one end of the wick extends outwardly to a length toward one side of the candle body. When the end of the wick extending upward is ignited, the wick can burn in sequence from top to bottom along the shell wall of the candle body, thereby providing different visual perceptions and ensuring that the candle body can be completely melted.

Description

Shell Candle

This work is about candle structure, specifically a shell-shaped candle that can be completely melted.

According to the law, candles are mainly made of wax, with a wick in the center. By lighting the wick, it can continue to burn, thereby achieving the effect of lighting. Although candles are rarely used for lighting in daily life, they can still effectively enhance the atmosphere of the environment in festivals, activities or home life. Some businesses add fragrances and essential oils to candles, or configure them in various colors or shapes, so that they can be used as indoor decorations or to enhance the atmosphere.

For example, the candle cup structure provided in Taiwan's new utility model patent case No. M514545 mainly contains a decorative object consisting of a statue of a deity in the wax of the candle cup, so that after the candle wick is lit and the wax is consumed, the statue of the deity gradually emerges, thereby producing a different visual perception. However, this design places the wick vertically in the center of the candle cup, so that the decoration will be close to the side of the wick. When the candle flame of the wick gradually burns down to the same height as the decoration, the decoration will be easily burned by the candle flame and smoky. In addition, the decoration will inevitably block the heat source transmitted by the candle flame, making it difficult for the wax between the decoration and the candle cup to melt completely, and it will easily remain on the decoration.

Another example is the candle structure disclosed in Taiwan's Announcement No. 529630, in which a light-transmitting sheet and an outer thin wall are sequentially covered on the outer wall surface of a candle body. By igniting the candle wick located at the center of the candle body, when the candle body burns to a thin wall, the light generated by the candle flame can penetrate the light-transmitting sheet and the outer thin wall outward, thereby presenting a pattern on the light-transmitting sheet. However, in order to achieve the light-transmitting effect, the thickness of the outer thin wall of the patent application must be thin enough to allow light to pass through. However, it is also necessary to consider that the candle flame cannot melt the outer thin wall completely, so the light-transmitting sheet must be thick enough to block the heat energy from being transferred to the outer thin wall. Therefore, not only is the manufacturing difficulty high, but also the light-transmitting sheet made of plastic material must be added, which is not environmentally friendly. In addition, the outer thin wall must have the property of light transmission, which will also result in that the outer thin wall cannot be made of opaque materials or dark colors (such as black), which limits the types of candles that can be made, and still has its shortcomings.

In view of this, how to improve the above problems is the primary issue that this creation aims to solve.

The main purpose of this creation is to provide a shell-shaped candle whose thin shell shape can provide different visual perceptions and at the same time has the function of being completely burnt.

To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, this invention provides a shell-shaped candle, comprising:

a candle body made of wax into a hollow shell shape and having a thickness, so that the candle body has an outer surface and an inner surface; and

At least one candle core is arranged along the inner surface of the candle body, and one end of the candle core extends outwards to a length toward one side of the candle body.

In a preferred embodiment, the candle core is spirally arranged on the inner surface of the candle body, and one end of the candle core protrudes from the top of the candle body to the outside of the candle body.

In another preferred embodiment, a plurality of candle cores are disposed on the inner surface of the candle body, each candle core is disposed radially equiangularly from bottom to top along the inner surface of the candle body, and each candle core extends upward to one end outside the candle body and converges into a bundle.

Preferably, a containing space is formed inside the candle body, and a decoration made of a heat-resistant material is arranged in the containing space, and the decoration can be made of at least one heat-resistant material of glass, metal or ceramic.

Preferably, the inner surface of the candle body is further covered with an adhesive layer, which is formed by curing the wax and covers the candle core.

Preferably, the outer surface of the candle body is further covered with a peelable thin shell outer layer.

The above-mentioned purposes and advantages of this invention can be easily understood from the detailed description and accompanying drawings of the following selected embodiments.

First, please refer to Figures 1 and 2, which show the first embodiment of the shell-shaped candle of the present invention, which is mainly composed of a candle body 11 and at least one candle core 21, wherein:

The candle body 11 has a bottom 12 facing downward and a top 13 facing upward. The candle body 11 is made of wax through a mold into a hollow shell shape and has a thickness, so that the candle body has an outer surface 14 and an inner surface 15, and a hollow accommodating space 16 is formed inside the candle body 11. The appearance of the candle body 11 can be made into an elliptical, circular, square, polygonal or other specific shapes according to needs. This creation does not limit the appearance of the candle body, and the color of the candle body 11 is also not limited.

The candle core 21 is arranged along the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11, and one end of the candle core 21 extends outwardly toward the top 13 of the candle body 11 for a certain length. In this first embodiment, the candle core 21 is arranged on the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11 in a long spiral shape from bottom to top, and one end of the candle core 21 facing upward protrudes from the top 13 of the candle body 11 to the outside of the candle body 11, and an adhesive layer 17 made of solidified wax is further provided on the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11, and the adhesive layer 17 covers the candle core 21 relatively, thereby fixing the setting position of the candle core 21.

In the actual manufacturing of the shell-shaped candle provided in the first embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 3, firstly, the molten liquid wax (which may be vegetable wax, beeswax or mineral wax) is poured into a mold 31 having a predetermined cavity shape, and the mold 31 is shaken to make the wax evenly adhere to the inner wall surface of the cavity to obtain a hollow shell-shaped candle body 11, and before the wax is completely solidified, a long strip of candle core 21 is spirally arranged on the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11. On the inner surface 15, the location of the candle core 21 can be preliminarily determined by the adhesiveness of the wax before it is completely solidified. Then, as shown in FIG. 4, a proper amount of wax is poured into the mold 31 for a second pouring operation, and the wax poured for the second time is uniformly attached to the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11 and relatively covers the candle core 21 to form the attachment layer 17. After the attachment layer 17 is solidified and the candle body 11 is taken out of the mold 31, the shell-shaped candle of this creation can be produced.

The shell-type candle provided by the present invention has its wick 21 arranged along the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11, and is covered with the attachment layer 17 so that the wick 21 can be enclosed in the shell wall formed by the stacking of the candle body 11 and the attachment layer 17. Therefore, after the upwardly extending end of the wick 21 is ignited, the spiral wick 21 can be burned in sequence from top to bottom in a circling manner along the shell wall of the candle body 11, thereby providing a different visual experience and ensuring that the candle body 11 can be completely melted.

As shown in FIG. 5 , in practical applications, the shell-shaped candle provided by the present invention may further include a decoration 41 in the receiving space 16 of the candle body 11. The decoration 41 may be placed in the receiving space 16 through an opening 121 at the bottom 12 of the candle body 11, and then the opening 121 may be sealed with wax. The decoration 41 may be made of at least one heat-resistant material of glass, metal or ceramic. As shown in FIG. 6 , when the end of the wick 21 protruding from the top 13 of the candle body 11 is ignited to burn the candle body 11, the flame of the wick 21 can burn from top to bottom along the shell of the candle body 11 in a circumferential manner, and when the shell of the candle body 11 is melted by the wick 21 and gradually lowered to the height of the decoration 41, the decoration 41 located inside can gradually appear, and the light and shadow effect brought by the swinging of the wick 21 flame can be provided. A more different visual experience is provided, and the candle core 21 is burned in a circular manner from top to bottom along the shell of the candle body 11, so that the candle body 11 can be completely melted without the problem of the unmelted shell covering the decoration 41. At the same time, the decoration 41 is made of heat-resistant material, and there is a distance between the decoration 41 and the shell of the candle body 11 so as not to be close to the flame of the candle core 21, so that the decoration 41 can be effectively prevented from being smoky or burned.

In addition, the shell candle provided by the present invention has another feasible practical application. As shown in FIG. 7 , after the shell candle is manufactured, it can be placed in a silicone mold 51 and coated with plaster on the outer surface 14 of the candle body 11. After the plaster is solidified, a peelable thin shell outer layer 18 can be formed on the outer surface 14 of the candle body 11. Before the user wants to ignite the shell candle of the present invention, he can peel off the thin shell outer layer 18 like playing with egg shells and then ignite the candle wick 21, so as to increase its fun in use.

As shown in FIG. 8, the second embodiment of the shell-shaped candle provided by the present invention is different from the first embodiment in that the configuration and quantity of the candle wicks 21 are slightly different. In the second embodiment, a plurality of candle wicks 21 are arranged on the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11, and each candle wick 21 is arranged along the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11 from bottom to top. The inner surface 15 is arranged at radial equiangular angles, and the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11 is also covered with the attachment layer 17, and the attachment layer 17 is used to relatively cover each candle wick 21 located on the inner surface 15, so as to fix the setting position of each candle wick 21, and each candle wick 21 extends upward to one end outside the candle body 11 and converges into a bundle.

When the shell-type candle provided in the second embodiment of the present invention is used, the ends of the wicks 21 extending upward and gathered into a bundle are ignited, so that the wicks 21 can be burned in sequence from top to bottom along the shell wall of the candle body 11. In addition to providing different visual perceptions, at the same time, the wicks 21 are arranged radially equiangularly in the shell wall formed by the inner surface 15 of the candle body 11 and the attachment layer 17 stacked on each other, which can also ensure that the candle body 11 can be completely melted. Of course, in this second embodiment, after the shell-shaped candle is manufactured, a peelable thin shell outer layer (not shown in the figure) can be formed on the outer surface 14 of the candle body 11 to increase its use interest, and a decoration made of heat-resistant material (not shown in the figure) can also be provided in the accommodating space 16 inside the candle body 11, so that when the shell wall of the candle body 11 is burned and melted by the candle core 21 and gradually lowered to the height of the decoration, the decoration inside can also be gradually revealed, thereby enhancing its visual perception, and at the same time, it can also maintain the effect of preventing the decoration from being smoked or burned.

However, the disclosure of the above embodiments is only used to illustrate the present invention, and is not used to limit the present invention. Any replacement of equivalent components should still fall within the scope of the present invention.

In summary, those familiar with the technology in this field can understand that this creation can indeed achieve the above-mentioned purpose and actually complies with the provisions of the Patent Law, so an application is filed in accordance with the law.

Claims (8)

A shell-shaped candle comprises: a candle body made of wax into a hollow shell shape and having a thickness, so that the candle body has an outer surface and an inner surface; and at least one candle core is arranged along the inner surface of the candle body, and one end of the candle core extends outwardly toward one side of the candle body for a certain length. A shell-type candle as described in claim 1, wherein the candle core is spirally arranged on the inner surface of the candle body, and one end of the candle core protrudes from the top of the candle body to the outside of the candle body. A shell-shaped candle as described in claim 1, wherein a plurality of candle wicks are arranged on the inner surface of the candle body, each candle wick is arranged radially equiangularly from bottom to top along the inner surface of the candle body, and each candle wick extends upward to one end outside the candle body and converges into a bundle. As described in claim 1, a shell-shaped candle has a storage space formed inside the candle body, and a decoration made of heat-resistant material is arranged in the storage space. A shell-shaped candle as described in claim 4, wherein the decoration can be made of at least one heat-resistant material of glass, metal or ceramic. A shell-shaped candle as described in any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein an adhesive layer is further provided on the inner surface of the candle body, and the adhesive layer covers the candle core oppositely. The shell-shaped candle as described in claim 6, wherein the adhesive layer is formed by curing wax. As described in claim 6, the shell-shaped candle has a peelable thin shell outer layer formed on the outer surface of the candle body.
