Furthermore, the connecting assembly 4 can be used to connect at least one ink supply channel 25 of one ink cartridge 2 with at least one ink supply channel 25 of another ink cartridge 2, forming a specific serial ink supply arrangement. The ink supply arrangements include horizontal serial arrangement and vertical serial arrangement.
