Description

Paperless transaction system and method

The present invention relates to a transaction system and method, and in particular to a paperless transaction system and method.

Users often use automated teller machines (ATMs) to transfer money and pay bills. However, in the past, users held a bill to be paid and had to review the bill information while entering the bill information. After entering the information, the user had to check and confirm the accuracy of the bill information displayed on the screen again, which often caused users to spend a lot of time on the operation and brought considerable trouble and inconvenience. At the same time, they would also worry about input errors, which caused great psychological burden. If the transfer or payment is wrong, it will cause great problems for the bank in the subsequent processing. After a successful transaction, the transaction details printed on thermal paper are not only difficult to preserve for a long time, but also produce harmful chemicals such as heavy metals and organic volatiles after burning. If the combustion is not complete, it may also produce dioxin, causing problems such as paper waste and environmental pollution.

Therefore, how to reduce the time users spend on transferring money and paying fees to improve efficiency and reduce the use of paper is an important issue.

In view of this, the present disclosure provides a paperless transaction system and method, which obtains the payment information by scanning a barcode or sensing a near field communication (NFC) tag chip, and obtains the payment details by near field communication after the payment is successfully made.
