Abstract

Disclosed is a mounting device (100) for a surveillance camera (200), comprising: a first structure (101) for fixing to a mounting position; and a second structure (102) for fixing the surveillance camera (200); wherein the second structure (102) is provided with a hinge mechanism (105) suitable for holding the surveillance camera (200) during the process of installing the surveillance camera (200) and allowing the surveillance camera (200) to pivot from an operating configuration position to a final mounting position, wherein the operating configuration position is suitable for operating the surveillance camera (200). According to the installation device, installation method and surveillance camera system of the present invention, the convenience and safety of surveillance camera installation can be improved, thereby reducing the installation time and installation cost of the surveillance camera.

Description

Mounting device, mounting method and surveillance camera system for surveillance camera

The present invention relates to the field of surveillance cameras, and in particular, to a mounting device for surveillance cameras, a surveillance camera system, and a method for mounting a surveillance camera using the mounting device.

Nowadays, surveillance cameras have been widely used in all aspects of people's lives. For example, surveillance cameras have been widely installed in companies, schools, banks, and public transportation facilities to monitor events that occur within the surveillance range. Due to the wide application of surveillance cameras, the installation of surveillance cameras has also received increasing attention.

Usually, when installing a surveillance camera, the installer is required to lift the surveillance camera and keep it in a predetermined position for installation. However, since surveillance cameras are usually installed at high places, the installation of surveillance cameras is inconvenient, and there is a risk of the surveillance camera accidentally falling during the installation process.

To this end, there is currently another method of using a hanging rope to first hang the surveillance camera below the installation location, and then lift the surveillance camera for final installation and fixation after the wiring and other operations are completed.

Even so, it still cannot meet the need for convenient and safe installation of surveillance cameras.

The object of the present invention is to provide a mounting device for a surveillance camera, a surveillance camera system, and a method for mounting a surveillance camera using the mounting device.

According to a first aspect of the present invention, a mounting device for a surveillance camera is provided, comprising: a first structure for fixing to a mounting position; and a second structure for fixing the surveillance camera; wherein the second structure is provided with a hinge mechanism suitable for holding the surveillance camera during the installation of the surveillance camera and allowing the surveillance camera to pivot from an operational configuration position to a final mounting position, where the operational configuration position is suitable for operationally configuring the surveillance camera.

Optionally, the mounting device further comprises: a first component for mounting at a mounting location; and a second component suitable for connecting between the first component and the surveillance camera.

Optionally, the second structure is provided with a pre-holding mechanism suitable for pre-holding the surveillance camera in the final installation position; and/or the second structure is provided with multiple hinge mechanisms.

Optionally, the mounting device further includes: a fixing member for fixing the surveillance camera at the final mounting position; and/or a protective member for preventing the surveillance camera from accidentally falling during the installation of the surveillance camera.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, a surveillance camera system is provided, wherein the surveillance camera system includes the aforementioned mounting device and a surveillance camera.

According to the third party of the present invention, a method for installing a surveillance camera using the aforementioned mounting device is provided, the method comprising at least the following steps: fixing the mounting device to the mounting position; keeping the surveillance camera in the operational configuration position through the hinge mechanism; performing operational configuration on the surveillance camera; pivoting the surveillance camera to the final mounting position around the hinge mechanism; and fixing the surveillance camera to the mounting device.

The installation device, installation method and surveillance camera system of the present invention improve the convenience and safety of surveillance camera installation, thereby reducing the installation time and installation cost of the surveillance camera.

In order to make the technical problems, technical solutions and beneficial technical effects to be solved by the present invention more clearly understood, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the attached drawings and multiple embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described here are only used to explain the present invention, not to limit the scope of protection of the present invention.

FIG1 schematically shows a mounting device 100 for a surveillance camera according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, wherein the mounting device 100 is used to mount the surveillance camera at a desired location.

As shown in FIG1 , the mounting device 100 includes a first structure 101 and a second structure 102, wherein the first structure 101 is used to be fixed to a mounting position, such as a predetermined position on a wall or a rod, and the second structure 102 is used to fix the surveillance camera and is provided with a hinge mechanism suitable for holding the surveillance camera during the installation process and allowing the surveillance camera to pivot from an operating configuration position to a final mounting position, where the surveillance camera is suitable for operating configuration.

Here, the operational configuration position refers to the configuration operations performed during the installation of the surveillance camera in order to enable the surveillance camera to operate normally after installation, such as circuit wiring, surveillance camera settings, etc. The final installation position refers to the location of the surveillance camera after it is finally installed.

FIG2 shows a mounting device 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG2 , the mounting device 100 may include: a first component 103 for mounting at a mounting position, and a second component 104 suitable for connecting between the first component 103 and a surveillance camera. In this case, the end of the first component 103 fixed to the predetermined position is the first structure 101 of the mounting device 100. The lower end of the second component 104 at least constitutes the second structure 102 of the mounting device 100.

In FIG. 2 , the first component 103 and the second component 104 are in a connected state. As an example, the first component 103 and the second component 104 may be connected by a thread.

Preferably, the first component 103 and/or the second component 104 is provided with an inner cavity (see the attached figure below) for example, for wiring. For example, a cable for connecting the surveillance camera to the Internet, to an external terminal (e.g., a computer, a server), etc. can be arranged in the inner cavity. In addition, other components required for setting up the surveillance camera can also be arranged in the inner cavity.

For this embodiment, the first component 103 can be first fixed to a wall or a rod-shaped object, and then the second component 104 is screwed and connected to the first component 103 as shown by the arrow in Figure 2.

According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, as also shown in FIG. 2 , the first component 103 includes a connection structure, such as a plate-shaped connection seat, which can be used as the first structure 101 of the mounting device 100 for fixing to the mounting position.

As a more specific embodiment, the ends of the first component 103 and the second component 104 in FIG. 2 that can be connected to each other are tubular structures.

It should be understood that the structure of the first component 103 and the second component 104 is not limited to the specific structure shown in Figure 2. The first component 103 and the second component 104 can have any structure that can realize the above-mentioned connection function.

As an example, the hinge mechanism may be configured as a hinge.

For example, when the surveillance camera is connected to the second structure 102 by a hinge and the surveillance camera is kept in the operating configuration position, the surveillance camera can be configured for operation, such as electrical connection. In this case, since the surveillance camera can be kept relatively stably in the operating configuration position, the installer does not need to manually hold the surveillance camera in the operating configuration position while performing the operation configuration of the surveillance camera, which greatly simplifies the configuration operation process and reduces the risk of the surveillance camera falling during the configuration process, thereby improving the safety of the installation.

As an example, the second structure 102 may be provided with a plurality of hinge structures. Here, providing a plurality of hinge structures may facilitate selection of a hinge mechanism suitable for keeping the surveillance camera in an operating configuration position according to different installation environments.

In addition, in order to further improve the safety of the installation, the installation device 100 may also include a protective member for preventing the surveillance camera from accidentally falling during the installation of the surveillance camera. As an example, the protective member may be a protective rope.

For example, when the surveillance camera is held in the operating configuration position by the hinge mechanism at the second structure 102, the surveillance camera may be further connected by a protective member to prevent the surveillance camera from falling if the hinge mechanism is accidentally detached. For example, the surveillance camera may be suspended on the first component 103 and/or the second component 104 by the protective member.

FIG3 shows a schematic diagram of a surveillance camera in an operational configuration position according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

In FIG. 3 , the surveillance camera 200 is held in the operating configuration position by the hinge mechanism 105. In addition, in order to further improve the safety of the installation, the surveillance camera 200 is also connected to the second part 104 of the installation device 100 by the protective member 106 to prevent the surveillance camera 200 from accidentally falling during the installation of the surveillance camera 200. It should be understood that, as an optional example, the surveillance camera 200 can also be connected to the first part 103 of the installation device 100 by the protective member 106.

As shown in FIG. 3 , the retaining sleeve 1021 covering the surveillance camera 200 can also be regarded as a part of the mounting device 100 from a functional point of view. For example, the retaining sleeve 1021 can be a part of the second structure 102.

FIG4 shows a schematic diagram of configuring the surveillance camera 200 when the surveillance camera 200 is in an operational configuration position according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 4 , when the surveillance camera 200 is maintained in the operational configuration position as shown in FIG. 3 , the surveillance camera 200 may be configured as schematically shown by the arrows in FIG. 4 . For example, the wiring within the surveillance camera 200 may be electrically connected to the wiring within the inner cavity of the first component 103 and/or the second component 104 so that the surveillance camera can then operate normally.

Here, after the operation configuration of the surveillance camera 200 is completed, the surveillance camera 200 can be pivoted from the operation configuration position to the final installation position, thereby facilitating the fixing of the surveillance camera 200.

FIG5 shows a schematic diagram of the pivoting of the surveillance camera 200 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 5 , the surveillance camera 200 can be pivoted as shown by the dashed arrow in the figure to pivot to the final installation position.

The second structure 102 of the mounting device 100 may be provided with a pre-holding mechanism suitable for pre-holding the surveillance camera 200 in the final mounting position, which will be described in more detail below in conjunction with the following figures.

Here, after the surveillance camera 200 pivots to the final installation position, the surveillance camera 200 can be pre-held at the final installation position by a pre-holding mechanism.

As an example, the pre-retention mechanism may be configured as a resilient lock.

FIG6 shows a stereogram of a surveillance camera 200 pre-retained in a final installation position according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

The pre-holding mechanism indicated by reference numeral 108 can be more clearly seen in FIG. 6 .

FIG. 7 shows a three-dimensional diagram of using a fixing member 109 to fix the surveillance camera 200 in the final installation position according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

As an example, the fixing member 109 may be a screw. In this case, the mounting device 100 and the surveillance camera 200 may be further firmly joined by the screw.

In addition, it should be understood that the structural shape of at least one component of the mounting device 100 is not limited to the structural shapes shown in Figures 2 to 7, but can be changed accordingly to any structural shape that satisfies the functions of the above-mentioned mounting device.

On the other hand, the present invention also provides a surveillance camera system, which includes the installation device 100 and the surveillance camera 200.

Here, the mounting device 100 may be a mounting device corresponding to any one of the above descriptions in conjunction with FIGS. 1 to 7. Since the structure of the mounting device has been described in detail above with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7, it will not be repeated here.

The surveillance camera 200 can be any camera having a surveillance camera function, for example, a PZT camera, a spherical camera, etc.

FIG8 shows a flow chart of a method for installing a surveillance camera 200 using the installation device 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to Figure 8, in step S101, the mounting device 100 is fixed to the mounting position.

The installation device 100 may be an installation device corresponding to any one of the descriptions in conjunction with Figures 1 to 7 above. Since the specific structure of the installation device has been described in detail above with reference to Figures 1 to 7, it will not be repeated here.

In step S102, the surveillance camera 200 is held in the operating configuration position by the hinge mechanism 105.

At this time, in order to further improve the safety of the installation, as an example, the method according to the present invention may also include the step of: protectively connecting the surveillance camera 200 to the installation device 100 to prevent the surveillance camera 200 from accidentally falling. For example, the surveillance camera 200 may be protectively connected to the installation device 100 through the protective member of the installation device 100.

In step S103, the surveillance camera 200 is configured for operation.

In step S104, the surveillance camera 200 is pivoted to the final installation position around the hinge mechanism 105.

As an example, after the surveillance camera 200 is pivoted to the final installation position, in order to further improve the safety and convenience of installation, the method according to the present invention may also include the following steps: before the surveillance camera 200 is fixed to the installation device 100, the surveillance camera 200 is pre-maintained in the final installation position.

For example, the surveillance camera 200 can be pre-held in the final installation position by the pre-holding mechanism of the installation device.

In step S105, the surveillance camera 200 is fixed to the mounting device 100.

For example, the surveillance camera 200 can be fixed to the mounting device 100 by the fixing member of the mounting device.

Claims (12)

A mounting device (100) for a surveillance camera (200) comprises: a first structure (101) for fixing to a mounting position; and a second structure (102) for fixing the surveillance camera (200); wherein the second structure (102) is provided with a hinge mechanism (105) suitable for holding the surveillance camera (200) during the process of installing the surveillance camera (200) and allowing the surveillance camera (200) to pivot from an operating configuration position to a final mounting position, wherein the operating configuration position is suitable for operating the surveillance camera (200). The mounting device (100) according to claim 1, wherein the hinge mechanism is configured as a hinge. The mounting device (100) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the mounting device (100) further comprises: a first component (103) for mounting at a mounting position; and a second component (104) suitable for connecting between the first component (103) and the surveillance camera (200), wherein the end of the first component (103) mounted at the mounting position is the first structure (101) of the mounting device (100), and wherein the lower end of the second component (104) is at least the second structure (102) constituting the mounting device (100). The mounting device (100) according to claim 3, wherein the first component (103) and the second component (104) are connected by threads; and/or the first component (103) and/or the second component (104) are provided with an inner cavity. The mounting device (100) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the second structure (102) is provided with a pre-holding mechanism (108) suitable for pre-holding the surveillance camera (200) in the final mounting position; and/or the second structure (102) is provided with a plurality of hinge mechanisms (105). The mounting device (100) according to claim 5, wherein the pre-holding mechanism is configured as an elastic lock (108). The mounting device (100) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the mounting device (100) further comprises: a fixing member (109) for fixing the surveillance camera (200) at the final mounting position; and/or a protective member (106) for preventing the surveillance camera (200) from accidentally falling during the process of mounting the surveillance camera (200). The installation device (100) according to claim 7, wherein the fixing member (109) is a screw; and/or the protective member (106) is a protective rope. A surveillance camera system, wherein the surveillance camera system comprises the installation device (100) and the surveillance camera (200) as described in any one of claims 1 to 8. A method for installing a surveillance camera (200) using a mounting device (100) as described in any one of claims 1 to 8, the method comprising at least the following steps: fixing the mounting device (100) to a mounting position; maintaining the surveillance camera (200) in an operational configuration position by a hinge mechanism (105); performing operational configuration on the surveillance camera (200); pivoting the surveillance camera (200) to a final mounting position around the hinge mechanism (105); and fixing the surveillance camera (200) to the mounting device (100). The method according to claim 10, wherein the method further comprises the following step: protectively connecting the surveillance camera (200) to the mounting device (100) to prevent the surveillance camera (200) from accidentally falling. The method according to claim 10 or 11, wherein the method further comprises the following step: before the surveillance camera (200) is fixed to the mounting device (100), the surveillance camera (200) is pre-maintained in the final mounting position.
