Abstract

Disclosed is a method of providing information on an item group in an electronic device for an item sales service, and the method may including obtaining information on a main item from a terminal of a user using the service, receiving information on a group including at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item from a first database based on the information on the main item, receiving detailed information on the main item and detailed information on the at least one sub-item from a second database based on the information on the group, and providing a page including at least some of the detailed information on the at least one sub-item and the detailed information on the main item to the terminal.

Description

Method for providing information about a group of items for an item sales service, electronic device and terminal, and computer-readable non-transitory recording medium

The present invention relates to a method for providing information about a group of objects and an electronic device thereof.

With the development of electronic technology, as the proportion of e-commerce for online purchases increases, customers can visit online stores and purchase items without going directly to a shopping mall or a market. In addition, in an online store, various methods for inducing a customer to purchase an item can be used on a page for providing information about a sale item. Specifically, the various methods for inducing the purchase of an item may include methods for providing discounts based on the purchase of an item.

As an example of a method for providing a discount based on item purchases, an online store may provide a specific discount to a buyer when the buyer purchases multiple items together. In this case, a discount to be provided to the user may be determined based on various factors, such as which discounts are provided with respect to the items purchased by the user, whether corresponding discounts overlap, and which discounts provide the greatest discount to the user.

An online store that sells various items needs to effectively manage preferential information applicable to the sales of these multiple items and provide users with accurate preferential information applicable to purchases. In this regard, reference may be made to the prior art such as Korean Patent No. 10-1020628B1.

One embodiment provides a method and device for providing information about a group of items. The technical tasks to be achieved by this exemplary embodiment are not limited to the technical tasks described above, and other technical tasks can be inferred from the following exemplary embodiments.

According to one aspect, a method for providing information about an item group in an electronic device used in an item sales service is provided, comprising: obtaining information about a main item from a terminal of a user using the service; receiving information about a group including at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item from a first database based on the information about the main item; receiving detailed information about the main item and detailed information about the at least one sub-item from a second database based on the information about the group; and providing a page including at least some of the detailed information about the at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item to the terminal.

According to another aspect, an electronic device for providing information about an item group related to an item sales service is provided, comprising: a first database for storing information about a group including a main item and at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item based on the information about the main item; a second database for storing detailed information about the main item and information about the at least one sub-item; Detailed information of a product; and a processor configured to receive the information about the group from the first database, receive the detailed information about the main item and the detailed information about the at least one sub-item from the second database, and based on the received information, provide a page including at least some of the detailed information about the at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item.

According to another aspect, a terminal for providing information about a group of items related to an item sales service is provided, comprising: a communication device; an input device; an output device; and a processor, which is operably coupled to the communication device, the input device, and the output device, wherein the processor is configured to receive information about a main item from a user using the service through the input device, transmit the information about the main item to an electronic device related to the service through the communication device, receive information from the electronic device through the communication device, and output the information about the main item to an electronic device related to the service. Detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item, and providing at least some of the detailed information about the at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item on an item-related page through the output device, wherein the detailed information about the at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item are identified in a second database of the electronic device based on information about a group including the at least one sub-item identified in a first database of the electronic device.

According to an exemplary embodiment, based on information about a main item, sub-items related to the main item and information about applicable discounts can be identified as a bundled unit, and thus, efficient data management can be easy.

In addition, by efficiently managing and applying different discounts from items, the best discounts can be provided for items purchased by users.

The effects of the exemplary embodiments are not limited to the effects described above, and those familiar with this technology will clearly understand other effects not described from the description of the technical solution.

While considering the functions in the present invention, the terms used in the exemplary embodiments are selected from the currently widely used general terms when possible. However, the terms may vary depending on the intention of those familiar with this technology or the emergence of previous examples, new technologies and the like. In addition, in certain cases, there are also terms arbitrarily selected by the applicant, and in such cases, the meaning will be described in detail in the corresponding description. Therefore, the terms used in the present invention should be defined based on the meaning of the terms and the content of the present invention rather than the simple names of the terms.

In the present invention, a "terminal" may be implemented as, for example, a computer or a portable terminal capable of accessing a server or another terminal via a network. Here, the computer may include, for example, a notebook computer, a desktop computer and/or a laptop computer equipped with a web browser. The portable terminal may be a wireless communication device that ensures portability and mobility, and includes (but is not limited to) any type of handheld wireless communication device, such as a tablet PC, a smart phone, a communication-based terminal (such as International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), W-Code Division Multiple Access (W-CDMA), Long Term Evolution (LTE) or the like).

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings so that a person of ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention belongs can easily implement the same. However, the present invention can be implemented in many different forms and is not limited to the exemplary embodiments described herein. In the present invention, an article may refer to a single article or a group of articles of the same kind. Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 illustrates a system for providing information about a group of items according to an exemplary embodiment.

Referring to FIG. 1 , a system 1 for providing information about a group of items may include an electronic device 10, a user terminal 20, a first database 30, a second database 40, and a third database 50. FIG. 1 only shows components related to an exemplary embodiment of the system 1 for providing information about a group of items. Therefore, a person skilled in the art of the present invention will understand that in addition to the components shown in FIG. 1 , other general components may be further included.

The electronic device 10 can communicate with the user terminal 20 through a network (not shown). In this article, the network includes a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN), a value-added network (VAN), a mobile radio communication network, a satellite communication network and a combination thereof. In a comprehensive sense, the network is a data communication network that enables the various networks shown in FIG. 1 to constitute entities to communicate smoothly with each other, and can include a wired Internet network, a wireless Internet network and a mobile wireless communication network. For example, wireless communication is wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, WFD (Wi-Fi Direct), Ultra Wideband (UWB), Infrared Data Association (IrDA) and Near Field Communication (NFC), but is not limited thereto.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device 10 may be a device included in a server for managing at least one item group information. For example, the electronic device 10 may control the server to manage at least one sub-item assigned to each main item. In addition, the system 1 for providing item group information may be a system related to an item sales service operation.

The electronic device 10 can obtain information about a main item from the user terminal 20. In addition, the electronic device 10 can receive information about a group including at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item from the first database 30 based on the information about the main item.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device 10 can receive detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item from the second database 40 based on the group information. In addition, the electronic device 10 can provide a page including at least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item to the user terminal 20 via the network. The detailed information about at least one sub-item can include at least one of the item name information of the sub-item, the item price information of the sub-item, and the image information of the sub-item.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the user terminal 20 may provide detailed information about the main item in a first area of the page, and information related to at least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item may be provided in a second area of the page.

The electronic device 10 can identify the identification information of the main item based on the information about the main item. The identification information can include at least one of information for identifying an item corresponding to the main item and information for identifying a seller and item corresponding to the main item. The information for identifying the item corresponding to the main item can include an identifier indicating the item as an item ID. The information for identifying the seller and item corresponding to the main item is a vendor item ID, and the corresponding information can include an identifier indicating the item and the seller.

In addition, at least one sub-item may be identified based on at least one piece of information about a bundle mapped to identification information of a main item in the first database 30. The information about the bundle may include information about at least one sub-item, and the information about at least one sub-item may include priority information of each of the at least one sub-item. The electronic device 10 may compose a page by selecting at least a portion of detailed information about at least one sub-item based on the priority information, and may transmit the page to the user terminal 20. For example, detailed information about at least one sub-item may be provided on a page according to a display order determined based on the priority information.

According to an exemplary embodiment, at least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item may be selected based on the inventory information and priority information about each of the at least one sub-item. For example, the detailed information about the sub-item to be provided on the page may be selected based on at least one of the sales volume of the sub-item, the price discount information of the sub-item, and the stock inventory of the sub-item. Specifically, detailed information about a sub-item with a high sales volume may be provided preferentially, or detailed information about a sub-item with a high discount rate may be provided preferentially. In this case, based on the stock inventory of each sub-item, an out-of-stock item may be pushed to the bottom of the page or may be unavailable on the page. Priority information may be identified in the first database 30, and inventory information of each of at least one sub-item may be identified based on detailed information about at least one sub-item.

According to an exemplary embodiment, when at least one of the main item and at least one sub-item is purchased together, the electronic device 10 may receive the price discount information applied by transmitting detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item to the third database 50. According to an exemplary embodiment, the preferential information about the main item may be stored in the second database 40, and the preferential information may include at least one of the price discount information of the main item and the sub-item, an application condition of the price discount information, and a threshold value information of a price discount applicable to the main item. In addition, by the electronic device 10 requesting at least one of the results of applying the preferential information about the main item to the main item and the sub-item from the third database 50, the electronic device 10 can obtain the discount price information that can be applied when the main item and at least one sub-item are purchased together. Therefore, a page provided to the user terminal 20 can be formed based on the response information received from the third database 50.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the group information may include at least one piece of information about a bundle including at least one sub-item corresponding to the main item. In addition, the information about the bundle may include information about a first sub-item group, and the first sub-item group may include a plurality of sub-items of the same item type but with some different properties. At least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item may be selected based on the sales volume among the plurality of sub-items included in the first sub-item group based on the bundle information. For example, a sub-item with the highest sales volume among the plurality of sub-items included in the first sub-item group may be selected. In addition, the detailed information of the selected sub-item may be provided on a page as a representative item of the first sub-item group through the user terminal 20.

The user terminal 20 may receive an input for the first sub-item set through a page. In addition, by transmitting the input to the electronic device 10, information about the plurality of sub-items included in the first sub-item set may be received in response to the input from the electronic device 10. The user terminal 20 may provide a detailed page including the received information about the plurality of sub-items. According to an exemplary embodiment, before providing the information about the plurality of sub-items included in the first sub-item set to the user terminal 20, the electronic device 10 may identify the inventory of each of the plurality of sub-items included in the first sub-item set based on the detailed information about at least one sub-item. In addition, based on the inventory identification result, the electronic device 10 provides information about each of the plurality of sub-items to the user terminal 20. For example, the plurality of sub-items may be provided on a detail page so as to be positioned at the top in order of the most inventory.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the first database 30 is a storage for information about a group including a main item and at least one sub-item grouped with the main item, the second database 40 is a storage including detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item, and the third database 50 is a storage including price discount information applied when the main item and at least one of the at least one sub-item are purchased together. In FIG. 1 , the first database 30, the second database 40, and the third database 50 are shown as components separate from the electronic device 10, but the databases may be included in the electronic device 10. In this regard, it will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 2 .

FIG. 2 is a schematic configuration diagram of an electronic device for providing information about a group of items according to an exemplary embodiment.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device 10 providing item group information includes a controller 110, a first database 120, and a second database 130. In addition, the electronic device 10 may further include a third database 140. According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device 10 providing item group information may further include a network that supports information transmission and reception among at least some of the controller 110, the first database 120, the second database 130, the third database 140, and other external devices.

Furthermore, even when the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 exist, at least some of the databases may still exist as a separate device different from the electronic device 10, or may also exist in a form not included in the electronic device 10 by being included in a separate device different from the electronic device 10. However, even in this case, the method of providing a series of item group information performed by data transmission/reception among the controller 110, the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 may be similarly performed. Hereinafter, for convenience of description, an exemplary embodiment in which the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 are included in the electronic device 10 is described. However, the following description may be applied mutatis mutandis to a case where at least some of the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 are not included in the electronic device 10.

The controller 110 of the electronic device 10 may include a transceiver, a memory, and a processor. The first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 may include at least some of a transceiver, a memory, and a processor. In addition, each of the controller 110, the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 may indicate a unit for processing at least one function or operation, and may be implemented in hardware or software, or a combination of hardware and software. Meanwhile, throughout the exemplary embodiment, the controller 110, the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 may be referred to as separate servers, but they may have a logically divided structure. Alternatively, they may be implemented by separate functions on a single server.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the controller 110, the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 may include a plurality of computer systems or computer software implemented as a network server. For example, at least some of the controller 110, the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 may refer to a computer system and computer software, which is connected to an auxiliary device capable of communicating with another network server through a computer network (such as an intranet or the Internet), receives a request to execute an operation, executes the operation thereon, and provides the execution result. In addition, at least some of the controller 110, the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 can be understood as a broad concept, including a series of applications that can be run on a network server and various databases built therein. For example, at least some of the controller 110, the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 can be implemented using network server programs that are provided differently according to operating systems (such as DOS, Windows, Linux, UNIX, or MacOS).

The electronic device 10 is a device that forms a web page with various information and provides the web page. The electronic device 10 may be a device for providing a user with product sales information and service provision information, but the role of the electronic device 10 is not limited thereto. In addition, throughout the exemplary embodiment, a service may be referred to as an item, the provision of a service may be referred to as the provision of an item or the sale of an item, and a user may purchase an item through a service provided by the electronic device 10.

The controller 110 is a functional unit for controlling the electronic device 10. The controller 110 can read and interpret instructions and determine a sequence for data processing.

The controller 110 receives group information including information about a main item and information about at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item from the first database 120, and receives detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item from the second database 130. The controller 110 provides a page including at least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item based on the group information and the detailed information.

The controller 110 providing a page may be interpreted as covering various operations that allow a user to receive the page. For example, the operation of the controller 110 providing a page may include an operation of outputting the page to a screen or the like by the controller 110 directly controlling an output device for providing information to the user, and may include an operation in which the controller 110 controls the transceiver so that the transceiver of the electronic device 10 transmits data for providing the page to an external device (such as the user terminal 20).

According to an exemplary embodiment, the controller 110 may further request price discount information applied when the main item and at least one sub-item are purchased together from the third database 140, and may further compose a page based on information about a response to the request and provide the page.

The first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 may store data, receive a request from the controller 110 or a user, and transmit data to the controller 110 or the like based on the received request. For example, the first database 120 transmits group information including information about a main item and information about at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item to the controller 110, and the second database 130 transmits detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item to the controller 110. In addition, the third database 140 may transmit at least one of preferential information about the main item and the result of applying the preferential information about the main item to both the main item and the sub-item group to the controller 110.

According to an exemplary embodiment, at least some of the first database 120, the second database 130, and the third database 140 may further perform data manipulation, data processing, and data-based calculations as well as data transmission and reception. For example, the third database 140 may receive detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item from the controller 110, and may calculate a result of applying the preferential information about the main item to the main item and the sub-item group based on the received detailed information.

The operations related to a series of information processing methods according to various exemplary embodiments may be implemented by a single physical device, or in a manner in which a plurality of physical devices are coupled in an organized manner. For example, some components included in the electronic device 10 for providing information about a group of items may be implemented by any one physical device, and the remaining parts may be implemented by other physical devices. For example, any one physical device may be implemented as a part of the controller 110, and another physical device may be implemented as a part of the first database 120, or a part of the second database 130, or a part of the third database 140, or a part of other external devices. In some cases, each component included in the electronic device 10 for providing information about a group of items may be distributed and placed in different physical devices, and the distributed components may be organized and combined to perform a function and an operation of the electronic device 10 for providing item information.

FIG. 3 schematically illustrates a diagram of a relationship between a main item and a sub-item according to an exemplary embodiment.

According to an exemplary embodiment, there may be at least one sub-item 222 to 999 associated with a main item 111. A sub-item may refer to an auxiliary item that can be used together with or mounted on a main item when the main item is used. For example, when a main item is a computer monitor, the sub-item may be a keyboard, a cable, a monitor arm, and the like.

According to an exemplary embodiment, a plurality of sub-items related to each other may be bundled to form a sub-item group. For example, a plurality of sub-items of the same item type but having some different properties may be grouped into a sub-item group. Referring to FIG. 2 , sub-items 555, 566, and 577 may be grouped into a sub-item group. For example, wired keyboards of different colors may be grouped into a sub-item group.

Detailed information of a sub-item group may be provided on a page based on a representative sub-item, and in FIG. 2 , the representative sub-item is a sub-item 555. Therefore, detailed information of sub-items 566 and 577 will not be provided on the page, and detailed information of sub-item 555 will be provided representatively. According to an exemplary embodiment, there may be an input for a sub-item group through the user terminal 20, and a detailed page containing information about a plurality of sub-items included in the sub-item group may be provided through the user terminal 20. In this case, detailed information of sub-items 566 and 577 may be provided together with detailed information of sub-item 555. For a more detailed description in this regard, please refer to FIG. 7.

FIG. 4 is a diagram showing group information in a first database according to an exemplary embodiment.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the group information 400 may include main item identification information 410, mapping type information 420, and bundling information 430. The main item identification information 410 may include information for identifying an item corresponding to the main item and information for identifying a seller and an item corresponding to the main item.

Referring to FIG. 4 , when a main item is an “iPhone”, the main item identification information 410 is used to identify information of an item corresponding to the main item and includes a main item identifier 111. In addition, the main item identification information 410 is used to identify information of a seller and an item corresponding to the main item and includes VENDOR_ITEM.

In addition, sub-items related to the main item may be bundled according to the preferential information applicable to the main item. For example, when a sub-item is purchased together with the main item, there may be a case where a promotional discount is applied to the sub-item, a case where a specific support amount may be received for the main item, and a case where a service related to the main item is provided free of charge. Therefore, the mapping type information 420 includes information indicating based on which preferential information at least one sub-item in the main item identification information 410 is bundled and mapped. This preferential information may be information set by the seller of the item or information pre-registered for the item by the item sales service provider.

The bundle information 430 may include information about the bundled sub-items, and each piece of bundle information 430 may be classified according to the mapping type information 420. The bundle information 430 may include identification information of a sub-item. For example, it may include information for identifying an item corresponding to a sub-item and information for identifying a seller and an item corresponding to the sub-item.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the group information 400 may further include requester_service information, which indicates whether the mapping information or the promotion information is received from which device of the system for providing item group information.

In addition, as described above with reference to FIG. 3, multiple sub-items of the same item type but having some different properties can be grouped into one sub-item group, and multiple sub-items belonging to one sub-item group cannot belong to different bundles. In other words, sub-items grouped in one group can be regarded as one item.

A second bundle is a bundle in which a specific support amount is received for the main item when the sub-item is purchased together with the main item, and mapping type information 420 indicates SUBSIDY_PROMOTION, and a sub-item 444 is included in the bundle. A third bundle is a bundle that provides a service related to the main item for free when a sub-item is purchased together with the main item, and the mapping type information 420 indicates CE_INSURANCE, and the bundle includes a sub-item 222 and a sub-item 333. A fourth bundle is a bundle that applies a promotional discount to a sub-item when the sub-item is purchased together with the main item like the first bundle, and the bundle includes a sub-item 666. A fifth bundle is also a bundle that applies a promotional discount to a sub-item when the sub-item is purchased together with the main item, and the bundle includes a sub-item 888 and a sub-item 999.

According to an exemplary embodiment, grouping means grouping at least one of the sub-items related to a main item into a group, and bundling means bundling the sub-items of the same discount information applicable to several discount information allocated to the main item into one bundle among the grouped sub-items.

FIG. 5 is a diagram showing a page providing item group information according to an exemplary embodiment.

The electronic device 10 may identify group information about the main item in the first database to determine whether there is a bundle that applies a discount when at least one sub-item is purchased together with the main item. In addition, when identifying a bundle to which a discount is applied, discount information that can be applied when purchasing the main item may be provided on a page 500. For example, when a sub-item is purchased together with the main item, if there is a bundle that applies a promotional discount to the sub-item, the page 500 may provide a phrase such as "items discounted when purchased as a group" at the top of the detailed information of the products belonging to the bundle.

In this regard, it will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 6.

According to an exemplary embodiment, a page 600 is a page that provides expanded item group information to provide more sub-items when there is an input to the user interface 505 on the page 500. For example, on the page 500, only detailed information 502 and detailed information 503 about the sub-items are provided, but when referring to FIG. 6 , the expanded page 600 may further provide detailed information 601 and detailed information 602 of additional sub-items. The detailed information 601 and detailed information 602 of the additional sub-items may include image information, name information, and price information of the sub-items as the detailed information 502 and 503, and may also include discount information applicable when purchased together with the main item. In addition, users can purchase more sub-items from the expansion page 600 and receive more discounts.

Referring back to FIG. 5 , according to an exemplary embodiment, detailed information 502 about at least one sub-item and detailed information 503 about at least one sub-item may further include a user interface 506 for changing the properties of the sub-item according to information about a bundle to which the corresponding sub-item belongs. For example, when the detailed information of the sub-item provided on page 500 is detailed information about a sub-item group, an input to the user interface 506 may switch to a page providing detailed information about a sub-item belonging to the sub-item group but having some different properties. In this regard, it will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 7 .

FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating a page providing information about a plurality of sub-items included in a sub-item group according to an exemplary embodiment.

A page 710 may correspond to the page 500 of FIG. 5 including detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item. When there is an input to the user interface 506 for changing the properties of the sub-item relative to the detailed information 701 about the sub-item group on the page 710, a page 720 may be switched to provide detailed information about other sub-items belonging to the sub-item group but having some different properties. According to an exemplary embodiment, the detailed information 701 about the sub-item group provided on the page 710 may be information based on a sub-item selected based on sales volume among a plurality of sub-items included in the sub-item group. For example, by designating a sub-item with the highest sales volume in a sub-item group as a representative item, the detailed information of the representative item can be displayed as the detailed information of the sub-item group.

Page 720 is a detail page containing information about a plurality of sub-items contained in the sub-item group. Page 720 displays information about a plurality of sub-items contained in the same sub-item group and having the same item type but having some different properties. For example, wired keyboards of different colors may be bundled into a sub-item group, and a plurality of sub-items may be listed from top to bottom based on sales volume. A user may make an input in user interface 506 for changing the properties of a sub-item on page 710, and may change the properties of the sub-items on page 720. In this article, changing the properties of a sub-item does not indicate changing some properties of the sub-item, but rather indicates selecting an item having properties different from those of the representative item among sub-items of the same type as the representative item. Referring to FIG. 7 , the representative item of the sub-item (wired keyboard) is a gray-blue wired keyboard, and the user can change the properties of the wired keyboard by selecting the detailed information 702 of the light pink wired keyboard on the page 720 .

According to an exemplary embodiment, the user can select detailed information 702 of any one of the sub-items listed on page 720. In addition, detailed information 703 about the sub-item group can be changed to detailed information about the selected sub-item and appear on page 730. The only difference between page 730 and page 720 is that the detailed information about the sub-item group is changed. Therefore, the user can select the user interface 506 for changing the properties on page 730 to change the properties of the sub-item to be purchased again.

In addition, to display page 720, the electronic device 10 may identify the inventory of each of the plurality of sub-items included in the sub-item group based on the detailed information about the sub-items. In this case, some sub-items may be out of stock, and then, page 720 may display information about the sub-items that are out of stock differently. In this regard, it will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 8.

FIG8 is a diagram showing a detailed page based on inventory identification results according to an exemplary embodiment.

According to an exemplary embodiment, when there is an input to the user interface 506 for changing the property of a sub-item belonging to a sub-item group, the electronic device 10 can identify the inventory of each of the plurality of sub-items included in the sub-item group by identifying detailed information about the sub-item. In addition, the electronic device 10 can provide a detailed page 800 including information about each of the plurality of sub-items based on the inventory identification result. As a result of the inventory identification, if the inventory of a sub-item is insufficient, the detailed information about the corresponding sub-item can be dimmed to make it impossible for a user to select.

Referring to FIG. 8 , as a result of stock identification of a plurality of sub-items 801, 802, and 803 belonging to a sub-item group, it may be identified that the stock of a sub-item 803 is insufficient. In this case, detailed information of the sub-item 803 may be provided on the page 800 after being blurred so that selection is impossible. In addition, the detailed information of the sub-item 803 may be located at the bottom of the detailed information on the plurality of sub-items.

In addition, when an item is sold, the information in the first database, the second database, and the third database can be updated in real time, and therefore, when the inventory status changes according to the sales of the item, the order of displaying detailed information about the child items can also be changed in real time.

In the following, a method for providing information of an item group in an electronic device used for an item sales service will be described in detail through a flow chart according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.

FIG9 is a flow chart showing a method for providing item group information according to an exemplary embodiment. The electronic device may be an electronic device 10 of a system 1 for providing item group information, and a terminal may be a user terminal 20 of a system 1 for providing item group information.

In operation S901, the electronic device can obtain information about the main item from a terminal of a user using the item sales service.

In operation S902, the electronic device may receive group information including information about at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item in a first database based on information about the main item. According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device may identify identification information of the main item based on the information about the main item. The identification information may include at least one piece of information for identifying an item corresponding to the main item and information for identifying a seller and an item corresponding to the main item. In addition, the group information may include at least one piece of information about a bundle mapped to the identification information of the main item and including at least one sub-item corresponding to the main item. The bundle information may include information about at least one sub-item, and the information about at least one sub-item may include priority information of each of the at least one sub-item. Therefore, at least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item to be included in the page of the user terminal can be selected based on the priority information. According to an exemplary embodiment, at least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item to be included in the page can be further selected based on the inventory information of each of the at least one sub-item. The inventory information of each of the at least one sub-item can be identified based on the detailed information about the at least one sub-item.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the group information may include at least one piece of information about a bundle including at least one sub-item corresponding to the main item, and the information about the bundle may include information about a first sub-item group. The first sub-item group includes a plurality of sub-items of the same item type but having some different properties. Detailed information about at least one sub-item may be selected and provided on the page based on the sales volume among the plurality of sub-items included in the first sub-item group based on the bundle information. For example, a sub-item with the highest sales volume among the plurality of sub-items may be provided on the page as detailed information of the first sub-item group.

In operation S903, the electronic device may receive detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item from the second database based on the group information. The detailed information about at least one sub-item may include at least one of item name information of the sub-item, item price information of the sub-item, and image information of the sub-item. According to an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device may transmit the detailed information about the main item and the detailed information about at least one sub-item to a third database, and may receive price discount information from the third database that is applied when the main item and at least one sub-item are purchased together.

In operation S904, the electronic device may provide a page including detailed information about at least one sub-item and at least some of the detailed information about the main item to the terminal. According to an exemplary embodiment, the detailed information about the main item may be provided in a first area of the page, and information related to at least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item may be provided in a second area of the page, and the second area may be provided at a lower end of the first area.

According to an exemplary embodiment, an input for the first sub-item group may be received through a page. In this case, in response to the input, the electronic device may provide a detailed page containing information about the plurality of sub-items contained in the first sub-item group to the terminal. In addition, the electronic device may identify the inventory of each of the plurality of sub-items contained in the first sub-item group based on the detailed information about at least one sub-item, and the electronic device may provide a detailed page containing information about each of the plurality of sub-items to the terminal based on an inventory identification result.

FIG. 10 is a schematic block diagram of a user terminal for providing item group information according to an exemplary embodiment. The user terminal 20 of FIG. 10 may correspond to the user terminal 20 of FIG. 1 .

According to an exemplary embodiment, the user terminal 20 of the present invention may include a communication device 22, an input device 24, an output device 26, and a processor 28. The components shown in FIG. 10 are not essential when implementing the terminal. Therefore, a person skilled in the art in the relevant field of the exemplary embodiment may understand that the terminal described in the present invention may have more or fewer components than those listed above.

The communication device 22 may communicate with an external electronic device using a wired/wireless communication technology and may include a transceiver. The external electronic device may be a terminal or a server. In addition, the communication technology used by the communication device 22 may include Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), Long Term Evolution (LTE), 5G, Wireless LAN (WLAN) and Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Infrared Data Association (IrDA), ZigBee and Near Field Communication (NFC), but is not limited thereto.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the communication device 22 can transmit information about the main item to an electronic device associated with the item sales service, and the communication device 22 can receive detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item from the electronic device.

The input device 24 may include a camera or an image input portion for an input of an image signal, a microphone or an audio input portion for an input of an audio signal, and a user input portion for receiving information from a user (e.g., a touch key and a key (a mechanical key), etc.). In addition, the input device 24 may include one or more sensors for sensing at least one of information in the terminal, information about an environment surrounding the terminal, and user information. For example, the input device may include at least one of a proximity sensor, an illumination sensor, a touch sensor, a motion sensor, a fingerprint scanning sensor, an optical sensor (e.g., a camera), and a microphone. In addition, the mobile terminal of the present invention can combine and utilize information sensed by at least two or more of the sensors.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the input device 24 can receive information about the main item from a user using the service. In addition, the input device 24 can receive an input for further receiving sub-items related to the main item and an input for changing the properties of a sub-item group.

The output device 26 is used to generate an output related to vision, hearing, touch or the like, and the output device 26 may include at least one of a display, a sound output portion, a touch module and an optical output portion. The display may be implemented as a touch screen by forming a layer structure or integrally formed with a touch sensor. The touch screen may be used as a user input portion of an input interface between a terminal and a user and may provide an output interface between a terminal and a user.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the output device 26 may output an item-related page including detailed information about at least one sub-item and at least some of the detailed information about the main item. In addition, the output device 26 may output an expanded page for further providing sub-items related to the main item and a page for providing detailed information about a plurality of sub-items included in the sub-item group.

The processor 28 can control the overall operation of the user terminal 20 and process data and signals. According to an exemplary embodiment, the processor 28 can control the operation of the communication device 22, the input device 24, and the output device 26 to provide item group information. In addition, the processor 28 can compose a page to be output based on the detailed information about at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item received from the electronic device 10, or can compose a page for changing properties based on the detailed information about a plurality of sub-items included in a sub-item group. In this case, detailed information about at least one sub-item and detailed information about the main item may be information identified in the second database of the electronic device based on information about a group including at least one sub-item identified in the first database of the electronic device.

The device according to the exemplary embodiment described above may include a memory for storing and executing program data, a permanent storage (such as a disk drive), a communication port for communicating with an external device, a user interface device (such as a touch panel, a key, a button) and the like. The method implemented as a software module or algorithm can be stored as a computer-readable program code or program instruction that can be executed on a processor on a computer-readable recording medium. Here, the computer-readable recording medium includes a magnetic storage medium (e.g., read-only memory (ROM), random access memory (RAM), floppy disk, hard disk, etc.) and an optically readable medium (e.g., CD-ROM, digital versatile disc (DVD)) and the like. The computer-readable recording medium can be distributed among network-connected computer systems so that computer-readable program codes can be stored and executed in a distributed manner. The medium can be read by a computer, stored in a memory, and executed on a processor.

Also, throughout exemplary embodiments, a communication device may include a transceiver for transmitting and receiving information.

An exemplary embodiment may be represented by functional block components and various processing steps. Functional blocks may be implemented in any number of hardware and/or software configurations that perform a particular function. For example, an exemplary embodiment may employ an integrated circuit configuration (such as memory, processing, logic, and/or lookup tables) that may perform various functions by controlling one or more microprocessors or other control devices. Similar to components that may be implemented as software programming or software components, exemplary embodiments may include a programming or scripting language (such as C, C++, Java, assembly language, etc.) implementation of various algorithms implemented as a combination of data structures, procedures, routines, or other programming constructs. Functional aspects may be implemented in an algorithm running on one or more processors. In addition, exemplary embodiments may employ existing techniques for electronic environment configuration, signal processing and/or data processing. Claims (14)

A method for providing information about an item group in an electronic device used in an item sales service, comprising: obtaining information about a main item from a terminal of a user using the item sales service; based on the information about the main item, receiving information about a group including at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item from a first database; based on the information about the group, receiving detailed information about the main item and detailed information about the at least one sub-item from a second database; and transmitting the detailed information about the at least one sub-item and detailed information about the main item to the second database. A page of at least some of the detailed information of the main item is provided to the terminal, wherein the information about the group includes at least one piece of information of a bundle, the bundle includes at least one sub-item, among the preferential information allocated in relation to the main item, the same preferential information is applicable to the at least one sub-item, wherein the information of the bundle includes priority information of each of the at least one sub-item, and wherein providing the page to the terminal includes providing the page including the detailed information of a sub-item determined to have the highest priority among the at least one sub-item based on the priority information. The method of claim 1 further includes identifying identification information of the main item based on the information about the main item, wherein the information about the group includes at least one piece of information of the bundle that is mapped in the identification information of the main item and corresponds to at least one sub-item of the main item. The method of claim 2, wherein the identification information includes at least one of information for identifying an item corresponding to the main item and information for identifying a seller and an item corresponding to the main item. The method of claim 1, wherein at least some of the detailed information about the at least one sub-item to be included in the page is selected based on the priority information and the inventory information of each of the at least one sub-item, and wherein the inventory information of each of the at least one sub-item is identified based on the detailed information about the at least one sub-item. As in the method of claim 1, the detailed information about the at least one sub-item includes at least one of the following: item name information corresponding to the sub-item; item price information corresponding to the sub-item; and image information corresponding to the sub-item. The method of claim 1 further comprises: transmitting the detailed information about the main item and the detailed information about the at least one sub-item to a third database; and receiving price discount information from the third database that is applied when the main item and at least one of the at least one sub-item are purchased together. The method of claim 1, wherein the detailed information about the main item is provided in a first area of the page, and wherein at least some of the detailed information about the at least one sub-item is provided in a second area of the page. The method of claim 1, wherein the information about the group includes at least one piece of information about a bundle containing at least one sub-item corresponding to the main item, and wherein the information about the bundle includes a first sub-item group, and the first sub-item group includes a plurality of sub-items having a same item type but having some different properties. The method of claim 8, wherein at least some of the detailed information about at least one sub-item is selected and provided on the page based on the sales volume among the plurality of sub-items included in the first sub-item group based on the information of the bundle. The method of claim 8 further comprises: receiving an input from the terminal for the first sub-item group through the page; and in response to the input, providing a detailed page containing information about a plurality of sub-items contained in the first sub-item group to the terminal. The method of claim 10 further includes: identifying the inventory of each of the plurality of sub-items included in the first sub-item group based on the detailed information about the at least one sub-item; and providing a detailed page containing information about each of the plurality of sub-items based on a result of the inventory identification. A computer-readable non-transitory recording medium that records a program for executing a method as in claim 1 on a computer. An electronic device for providing information about an item group related to an item sales service, comprising: a first database for storing information about a group including a main item and at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item based on the information about the main item; a second database for storing detailed information about the main item and detailed information about the at least one sub-item; and a processor configured to receive the information about the group from the first database, receive the detailed information about the main item and the detailed information about the at least one sub-item from the second database, and based on the received information, Providing a page including the detailed information about the at least one sub-item and at least some of the detailed information about the main item, wherein the information about the group includes at least one piece of information about a bundle, the bundle includes at least one sub-item, and among the preferential information allocated in relation to the main item, the same preferential information is applicable to the at least one sub-item, wherein the information about the bundle includes priority information of each of the at least one sub-item, and the processor is configured to provide the page including the detailed information of a sub-item determined to have the highest priority among the at least one sub-item based on the priority information. A terminal for providing information about a group of items in connection with an item sales service, comprising: a communication device; an input device; an output device; and a processor operably coupled to the communication device, the input device, and the output device, wherein the processor is configured to: receive information about a primary item from a user using the item sales service via the input device; and output information about a primary item via the communication device. The device transmits the information about the main item to an electronic device related to the item sales service; receives detailed information about the main item and detailed information about at least one sub-item to be grouped with the main item from the electronic device through the communication device; and outputs the detailed information about the at least one sub-item and at least one of the detailed information about the main item to the output device through the output device. The detailed information about the at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item are provided on an item-related page, wherein the detailed information about the at least one sub-item and the detailed information about the main item are identified in a second database of the electronic device based on information about a group including the at least one sub-item identified in a first database of the electronic device, wherein the information about the group includes at least one piece of information about a bundle including at least one sub-item. The main item includes a bundle of at least one sub-item, wherein the information of the bundle includes priority information of each of the at least one sub-item, and the processor is configured to provide the page, which includes detailed information of a sub-item determined to have the highest priority among the at least one sub-item based on the priority information.
