Description
本揭示內容是有關一種塑膠材料添加劑,特別是有關一種可生物分解的塑化劑。
為了解決塑膠製品所帶來的環保問題,目前已發展出可生物分解塑膠,例如聚乳酸(polylactic acid,PLA)、聚丁二酸丁二醇酯(poly(butylene succinate),PBS)及(1,4-丁二醇己二酸酯/1,4-丁二醇對苯二甲酸酯)共聚物(poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate),PBAT)等。然而,此類塑膠的性質仍有不及石化塑膠之處,例如聚乳酸雖具有優秀的剛性及高透明度,但其耐久性、耐熱性、耐衝擊性、柔軟性與氣密性不足,使其應用上仍受到諸多限制。
為了改善可生物分解塑膠的特性、質地與成本問題,可以添加可分解的習知添加劑,以改變可生物分解塑膠的柔軟度與耐用性等,但習知添加劑改善可生物分解塑膠特性的效果仍不足,且容易釋出,成本也較高,故習知添加劑仍有其進步空間。除此之外,可生物分解塑膠的分解條件嚴苛,例如,聚乳酸塑膠製品須在特定環境條件與足夠時間下,才能完全分解成二氧化碳和水,並在不造成危害的狀態下進入自然環境中循環,但若聚乳酸塑膠製品欲在一般環境中自然完全分解,仍然相當困難,因此,研發可促進分解速率的添加劑,以幫助可生物分解塑膠快速分解並進入自然環境,為未來的重要趨勢。
依據本揭示內容提供一種塑化劑,其具有可生物分解性,塑化劑的分子包含一中心結構、至少二連結結構及至少一支鏈結構。中心結構包含一苯環衍生物及至少一胺基酸中之至少一者;至少二連結結構分別與中心結構連結,且包含一第一連結結構及一第二連結結構,第一連結結構為一種胺官能基,第二連結結構為一種羧酸官能基;支鏈結構為具多碳的支鏈,且支鏈結構與第一連結結構及第二連結結構中至少一者相連,當支鏈結構連接胺官能基時,係形成一醯胺鍵,當支鏈結構連接羧酸官能基時,係形成一酯鍵。支鏈結構與胺官能基相連接的碳數量為nNC,支鏈結構與羧酸官能基相連接的碳數量為nOC,其滿足下列條件:0 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 1.00,其中nNC及nOC分別為零或正整數,且nNC及nOC不同時為零。

依據本揭示內容提供一種塑膠產品,其具有可生物分解性。塑膠產品包含前述塑化劑及一聚酯塑膠,聚酯塑膠為一聚乳酸、一聚丁二酸丁二醇酯、一(1,4-丁二醇己二酸酯/1,4-丁二醇對苯二甲酸酯)共聚物或一聚羥基烷酸酯,而塑化劑混合於聚酯塑膠中。

苯環衍生物可以為鄰氨基苯甲酸(2-aminobenzoic acid)、間氨基苯甲酸(3-aminobenzoic acid)、對氨基苯甲酸(4-aminobenzoic acid)、鄰羥基苯甲酸(2-hydroxybenzoic acid)、間羥基苯甲酸(3-hydroxybenzoic acid)或對羥基苯甲酸(4-hydroxybenzoic acid)等具有類似結構之化合物。
胺基酸可以為標準胺基酸、人體無法自行合成的必需胺基酸、經修飾之胺基酸(例如:hydroxyproline、hydroxylysine或thyroxine)、或其他非標準胺基酸(例如:homocysteine、homoserine或ornithine)。以下將標準胺基酸與必需胺基酸整理於表1:

中心結構亦可以為甘油(即丙三醇,propane-1,2,3-triol)或2-(2-羥基乙氧基)-1-丙醇(2-(2-hydroxyethoxy)propan-1-ol)。
至少二連結結構包含一第一連結結構及一第二連結結構,第一連結結構為一種胺官能基(amine group),第二連結結構為一種羧酸官能基(carboxyl group)。
若中心結構為苯環衍生物時,胺官能基與羧酸官能基於苯環衍生物上的位置可以為相鄰(鄰位,ortho)或不相鄰(間位,meta或對位,para)。
胺官能基可以為-NH2
、-NHR、-NR2等官能基。另外,胺官能基可以為一級胺(primary amine)、二級胺(secondary amine)、三級胺(tertiary amine)或季銨陽離子(quaternary ammonium cation)。再者,第一連結結構可以自胺官能基取代成一羥官能基(hydroxyl group),當支鏈結構連結羥官能基時,其連結處可以經由水解作用分解,有助於提升塑化劑的可生物分解性。
塑化劑的分子包含兩個連結結構時,其分別為第一連結結構與第二連結結構。另外,塑化劑的分子亦可以包含三個連結結構,其分別為第一連結結構、第二連結結構及第三連結結構,第三連結結構可以為胺基酸的殘基,例如,以離胺酸殘基的胺官能基作為第三連結結構,或者以天冬胺酸殘基的羧官能基作為第三連結結構。另外,塑化劑的分子亦可以包含四個連結結構,其分別為第一連結結構、第二連結結構、第三連結結構及第四連結結構,第三連結結構與第四連結結構可以為同一種官能基,如精胺酸殘基的雙胺官能基,也可以是不同種類的官能基。再者,當中心結構包含複數個胺基酸時,亦可以使塑化劑的分子包含五個以上的連結結構。
支鏈結構為具多碳的支鏈,支鏈結構的碳數可為1、2、3、4、5、6、7、8、9、10、11、12、13、14、15、16、17、18、19或20等。再者,支鏈結構中可以具有氧元素以形成醚官能基,支鏈結構的氧數可以為1、2、3、4、5、6或7等。
支鏈結構可以為飽和脂肪酸(saturated fatty acid),其碳數可以為1、2、3、4、5、6、7、8、9、10、11、12、13、14、15、16、17、18、19、20、21、22、23、24、25、26、27、28、29、30、31、32、33、34、35或36,如醋酸(脂類編號lipid number為C2:0)、酪酸(butyric acid,C4:0)、己酸(C6:0)、辛酸(C8:0)、癸酸(C10:0)、月桂酸(C12:0)、木蠟酸(C24:0)或三十六酸(C36:0)等。
支鏈結構可以為不飽和脂肪酸(unsaturated fatty acid),其碳數可為14、15、16、17、18、19、20、21、22、23或24,且其雙鍵數可以為1、2、3、4、5或6,如二十烯酸(paullinic acid,C20:1)、二十碳三烯酸(DGLA,C20:3)、二十二碳六烯酸(docosahexaenoic acid,DHA,C22:6)或二十四碳烯酸(C24:1)等。
支鏈結構可以選擇乙二醇(ethylene glycol)、聚乙二醇(polyethylene glycol,PEG)、丙二醇(propylene glycol)或聚丙二醇(polypropylene glycol,PPG)作為單體,進行連續聚合而成。再者,支鏈結構的單體亦可以選自由乙二醇、聚乙二醇、丙二醇及聚丙二醇所組成之群組,並進行聚合而成。支鏈結構經由上述單體聚合而成,可以控制塑化劑所需的分子量大小,並適當調整塑化劑的親、疏水性質,有助於塑化劑發揮最佳特性,提升塑化劑與塑膠混合時的相容性。
支鏈結構係與第一連結結構及第二連結結構中至少一者相連,即中心結構可以經由第一連結結構和/或第二連結結構,以酯化、脫水或胜肽化等方式連結支鏈結構。
當支鏈結構連接胺官能基時,係形成一醯胺鍵(amide bond),有助於提升塑化劑被酵素分解的效率,進而提升塑化劑的可生物分解性。另外,當支鏈結構連接羧酸官能基時,係形成一酯鍵(ester bond)。再者,當支鏈結構連結羥官能基時,係形成一醚鍵(ether bond),醚鍵可在特定環境下經由水解作用進行分解,有助於提升塑化劑的可生物分解性。
塑化劑更可以包含至少一極性官能基,係與支鏈結構連結,極性官能基可以位於支鏈結構的中段或末端。另外,極性官能基可以為羧基(-COOH)、醇基(-OH)、胺基(-NH2
)或磷酸基(-PO(OH)2
)。再者,塑化劑可以包含至少二極性官能基,其選自由羧基、醇基、胺基及磷酸基所組成之群組,以因應不同需求配置極性官能基,有助於提升塑化劑的親水性及塑化劑與塑膠之間的親和力,以利塑化劑與塑膠之混製。
支鏈結構與胺官能基相連接的碳數量為nNC,支鏈結構與羧酸官能基相連接的碳數量為nOC,其滿足下列條件:0 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 1.00,其中nNC及nOC分別為零或正整數,且nNC及nOC不同時為零。再者,可以滿足下列條件:0.01 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC);nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 1.00;0.05 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 0.95;0.10 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 0.90;0.15 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 0.80;0.20 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 0.70;0.25 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 0.60;0.30 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 0.50;或0.35 ≤ nNC/(nNC+nOC) ≤ 0.40。
支鏈結構與胺官能基相連接的氧數量為nNO,支鏈結構與羧酸官能基相連接的氧數量為nOO,支鏈結構與羥官能基相連接的碳數量為nO'C,支鏈結構與羥官能基相連接的氧數量為nO'O。支鏈結構的nNC與nNO是自胺官能基的氮原子以外開始計算,支鏈結構的nOC、nOO、nO'C與nO'O是自羧酸官能基或羥官能基的氧原子以外開始計算,且nNC、nNO、nOC、nOO、nO'C及nO'O不包含極性官能基的碳原子或氧原子。其中nO'C在計算時視為nOC,nO'O在計算時視為nOO。
塑化劑的分子量為MwP,其可以滿足下列條件:450 Dalton ≤ MwP,塑化劑的分子量越大,穿越細胞膜的困難度則越高,有助於避免塑化劑直接穿越細胞膜而進入細胞內。再者,可以滿足下列條件:MwP ≤ 2000 Dalton;475 Dalton ≤ MwP ≤ 1000 Dalton;500 Dalton ≤ MwP;525 Dalton ≤ MwP;550 Dalton ≤ MwP;或600 Dalton ≤ MwP ≤ 1500 Dalton。

Claims (13)
- 一種塑化劑,其具有可生物分解性,該塑化劑的分子包含:一中心結構,其包含一苯環衍生物及至少一胺基酸中之至少一者;至少二連結結構,分別與該中心結構連結,其包含:一第一連結結構,為一種胺官能基;及一第二連結結構,為一種羧酸官能基;以及至少一支鏈結構,其中該支鏈結構為具多碳的支鏈,且該支鏈結構與該第一連結結構及該第二連結結構中至少一者相連,其中當該支鏈結構連接該胺官能基時,係形成一醯胺鍵,當該支鏈結構連接該羧酸官能基時,係形成一酯鍵;其中,該支鏈結構與該胺官能基相連接的碳數量為nNC,該支鏈結構與該羧酸官能基相連接的碳數量為nOC,其滿足下列條件:0.01nNC/(nNC+nOC)<1.00;其中nNC及nOC分別為零或正整數,且nNC及nOC不同時為零。
- 如請求項1所述之塑化劑,其中該中心結構為該苯環衍生物。
- 如請求項2所述之塑化劑,其中該中心結構 更包含該胺基酸。
- 如請求項1所述之塑化劑,其中該中心結構為該胺基酸。

- 如請求項10所述之塑化劑,其中該塑化劑包含至少二該極性官能基,其選自由羧基、醇基、胺基及磷酸基所組成之群組。
- 一種塑膠產品,其具有可生物分解性,該塑膠產品包含:如請求項1所述之塑化劑;以及一聚酯塑膠,其為一聚乳酸、一聚丁二酸丁二醇酯、一(1,4-丁二醇己二酸酯/1,4-丁二醇對苯二甲酸酯)共聚物或一聚羥基烷酸酯;其中,該塑化劑混合於該聚酯塑膠中。
- 一種塑化劑,其具有可生物分解性,該塑化劑的分子包含:至少二中心結構,各該中心結構包含一苯環衍生物及至少一胺基酸中之至少一者;至少二連結結構,各該連結結構為一種羧酸官能基,且各該中心結構分別與至少一該連結結構相連;以及一支鏈結構,其中該支鏈結構為具多碳的支鏈,且各該中心結構分別藉由該連結結構與該支鏈結構相連,當該支鏈結構連接各該羧酸官能基時,係形成一酯鍵。
